I absolutely love being a mother and am grateful that I was able to be a full time, stay-at-home mom to both of my children. My last one has flown the coop and the empty nest syndrome has hit hard; but change is healthy, right? :)
As a nutritional therapist, I am passionate about food, healthy eating, and learning about and practicing preventive health. I spend hours in the kitchen trying new recipes and my own concoctions.
I enjoy dressing up for fine dining and hitting the town but am equally comfortable with good food at hole-in-the-wall restaurants and put-zing around the house (I'm probably more of a homebody than I would care to admit). However, most of the time I prefer to play in my own kitchen.
I have enjoyed cooking tours in northern and southern Italy, have been to Croatia, and more recently Turkey with a group from church. Last September I took a road trip from Seattle to San Diego and back was able to enjoy some old haunts, such as Napa Valley, the Redwoods and even Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe. I would like to explore more of the amazing contiguous 48 States.
I've called Seattle home for the past 27 years but was raised in sunny San Diego. Recently, I have decided to make a big leap and move back to California (Santa Rosa) this fall. Very exciting!
I am definitely a girly-girl but do enjoy camping (occasionally) and getting dirty in the garden. I rarely watch TV but any excuse to snuggle is great! Movies, fall football, plays and concerts are fun...especially with that special man.
My knees go a little weak when I am around tall men, so lucky you if you are 6'2" or taller! Music lovers, especially those who enjoy singing, whistling or playing the guitar, are also mighty attractive.
More importantly, I am attracted to men who have a personal relationship with God and yet aren't religious, who are self assured, kind, have good morals, strong integrity, like to have fun and of course a good sense of humor. It is important that my life partner be someone who is generous, enjoys helping others, and believes marriage is a life long partnership.

Things that please me.... walking along the beach after a storm, finding a perfect sand-dollar, the scent of magnolias, marching bands at half-time, toddlers in Halloween costumes, the night sky, finding pictures in clouds, every sunset, the sounds of the ocean, flamingos, inexpensive adventures, spending the day getting ready for a date, fresh crab, really good pizza, my lazy dog, staying up late, any Will Ferrell movie, funny cards, super bowl commercials, a killer back rub, diet pepsi, candles, driving with my music too loud and singing!
Things that displease me.... bad table manners or bad manners in general, olives, root beer, bad hygiene, roller coasters, the price of razors, the silent treatment, anything being mistreated, litter bugs, other bugs, and rude drivers.
I don't watch TV too much and I can never find my keys. I'm usually late, but I'm always worth the wait. :)
My guy says what he wants, but always lets me know I have a choice. He's gotta be sexy, sincere, confident, caring, persuasive, polite, and oh yes, he loves his mom.
Wanna take some risks together, but I know I can trust him. He knows how to seduce me and when to just .... me, lol what were you guys thinking? I meant "hold" me, jk. What I've Learned - Lies of omission are still lies. Remember that men: are VISUAL, try not to hold it against them; think about something sexual about every six seconds. RELAX - if he looks at another woman and you know he's with you, go buy what she's wearing. Listen to the non-verbal, he really is communicating.
