I'm divorced (8yrs) now and have 1 son (20yrs old) - who moved out on his own in Jan 2010. I come from a large family (6 kids) and love big family gatherings for special events/holidays. I am a War Eagle girl - if you watch football & follow the SEC - you will know what that means! Not to imply I am a sports nut, as I am not. I'm an eternal optimist and hope to find love and respect from 1 of male species before I leave this earth.

I try very hard to look at life by the 1/2 full glass, as it's much more rewarding. I love to fish - weird for a girl but hey! Love to travel. In fact, I tried out - with a good friend in TX - for The Amazing Race in April 2011. That should tell you I REALLY love to travel! I have a long list of things I want to do & try and am looking for a partner in 'crime' to help me experience the joys our journey will surely hold. (or we'll just have to go find them!)

Love cats but dogs are tolerable. Fish ok too (hope my cats don't eat!). I'm easy going, love meeting new people and seeing new places...I've never met a stranger they say. College educated and prefer a man with some college or graduate of same. Love to talk and discuss issues and explore feelings. Must be someone who can examine his feelings and discuss issues that might arise. Holding it in just doesn't work for me. Prefer to avoid screaming meemie matches and all the drama they bring.
