Hawaii or some other South Pacific area is my dream home. I've visited Oahu 3x & Maui once & when the opportunity in the future arises, I'm packin' my flipflops & I'm "gone to Maui," permanently.
Spent 18 years in Alaska, was with IBEW Electricians Union & non-union electrical construction outfits there, I've taught downhill skiing & snow boarding professionally & ran a ski school for a season there. Sorta took the glamour off things, that last gig... In Idaho, I taught skiing at Sun Valley & later worked as a Lift Electrician there. So that's me.... I love "dangerous electricity." Just gotta first know what NOT to do, gotta keep your head, stay cool & concentrated, & *think* about exactly what you're doing, at all times. Pretty simple, sounds like too much mental work to some I suppose, but I like it.
Here is pretty much the sort of woman I hope to run into & get to know & become really, really good friends & lifelong "soul partners" with:
Smart. Not "book smart" & that's all, but rather insightfully, soulfully smart mixed in *with* book smarts & brave life experiences. The kind of smart that comes from accepting & living an attitude of essentially forgiveness, & who extends that kind of soul to others when the goin' seems to be gettin' tough for those others, or for herself, and who is wise & humble enough to learn from the knocks instead of throwing up the ego walls. She loves striving for wisdom *wherever* it can be found & knows what the word apologize not just means in the dictionary, but more importantly, what it genuinely feels like. Witty, quick with a fun & friendly barb, likes a little fun wordplay, & is not afraid to be who she really truly is from the essence of her soul. Level-headed, down-to-earth, rational but also peculiarly irrational at times but not scary so hehehe, & is emotionally stable (of course).
I happen to be a touchy-feely romantic kinda guy, so cuddlin' & kissin' when the time & place is right is a make or break for me, man. Love that stuff. I like simple activities basically, like just a walk in the park through autumn leaves, shopping the co-ops with my woman friend, or a whole entire day on the slopes devoted to just skiing, skiing & nothing but skiing.
Oh... and good-lookin' too. Not so much "physical appearance-wise" but rather, what shines (or what I might be able to see what *could* shine) from within her.
Drop me a note if ya like. I'm a nice, generous guy who doesn't bite nor call people on BS & games until I see that the red flags just can't be lowered down, for whatever reasons. Then the get-a-clue words come outta me. Women I love are those who are real, basically, even those women who strive for being authentically kind & whole-hearted despite baggage they might have that they wish & actually, really need to be 'real' through. And I hope I'm not sounding cocky or full of it here, but hey... That's real life that's worth living. Both 'the good' & 'the bad' is what makes a whole. And so such a way is not for the wimps nor for the duckers & the dodgers.
Life's good, not 'bad' anyway, it just takes a dynamic & adaptable attitude of gratitude before one can know that.
