As far as fun activities, a good example is going to the Symphony. A couple of weekends ago was a Masterworks performance of Beethoven, and there I was, taking myself out for a date on a Saturday night. Certainly there is someone out there who would think doing that is fun and who would want to go. On Easter weekend I walked from Denver to Mother Cabrini shrine. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience.

. I'm a retired highway construction worker after 34 years. A Colorado Native that grew up and lived in the same town since 1956 and never took up skiing. I have a grown son and one grandson. I spend time with my grandson who's 6. I fish, camp &; hunt when I can. I help put on a local rodeo in the summer. I am active in the local ELKs Lodge and am a Past Exalted Ruler. I enjoy life doing the things I do but still think it would be nice to have someone with similar interests to share them with. If I find someone, I'll be happy with friendship to start with and then let things progress from there. I'm an easy going quiet guy. I'm not much of a world traveler but, I have been out of Colorado mostly just to neighboring states.
I've been to Washington DC once and would like to visit there again to revisit some of the memorials and visit the ones built since I was there before. There are some things in other states I'd like to visit like Yellowstone and the Little Bighorn.

I am a Denver native, although I lived away from here for many years. Most of my years away from Denver were spent in New Orleans. I definitely left a piece of my heart in New Orleans. I coach basketball for youngsters for many years, but after last season I retired. I enjoy getting to the mountains as frequently as possible in all seasons.
I really do not have a vision of a perfect match. I am looking for somebody that truly has a positive outlook on life. Life is too short, and I am terribly adverse to negativity. The ability to communicate, which includes both listening and conveying one's thoughts and feelings is of paramount importance to me. . I can make you laugh at the most awkward moments. Is this an awkward moment?! I don't know exactly what it is, but I like to cheer for the underdog. I would rather play sports than watch them. I like that nature has many wonders (ie lightening and rainbows). There are always two sides to a story (I like listening to both). I like to be hands on. I find people and cultures to be very intriguing I am realistic and practical. (What a combo , huh?) I seem to have this light bulb go off in my head for finding new ways to do things. If I had to pick one word that describes me, I would say "one word" LOL I would most enjoy a woman who can show affection and tender loving touches, as that is what I crave myself and can easily do the same.
Someone who plays golf is a plus. If you can hold your own bantering, than we will have a good time. I love someone with an infectious laugh (it just gets me). I think one thing that really really gets me is a woman that has a playful, child-like quality. Someone who sees every little thing as a new experience. I think I can make a list of qualities that I really look for in a woman, but the most important one to me is that you just love spending time together.
