Like most of us life gets so busy that it becomes difficult to meet anyone so I thought I’d give this a try.
I was born and raised in Colorado and though I’ve traveled considerably it’s always been home. I grew up on top of a mountain climbing trees, running around with my dog, and gathering scars from riding my bike on dirt roads.
I had the best dog on the planet she was very intelligent, and always came when you called her. I hadn’t thought of this in a long time but one time she brought home a baby bunny. She carried it home in her mouth and wanted us to raise it. She would sit there and watch us as we fed it and made sure we were taking good care of it.
So 20 odd years later I am still drawn to the mountains and work as a semi professional photographer when time allows. Ultimately I’d love to take a couple of camera’s and journey to a number of foreign places, many of which I’ve already visited, and photograph to my hearts content. I’d love to shoot for National Geographic.
I’ve always been traveling, when I was 6 my father put the family in a truck and camper and we spent 5 weeks driving to Alaska and back. From there it never really slowed down at last count it was something like 43 countries. I’ve been in all 50 states multiple times and crossed the United States so many times that I’ve completely lost count. It’s given me a really unique view of the world that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
I am also a touring guitar technician, big words that boil down to my tuning guitars and taking care of the gear that the musicians use on stage. Have you ever been to a concert and seen a guy come out and trade guitars with a musician on stage, well that would be my job. I’m sure I’ve worked at some point in time for an artist that you are familiar with.
Who am I looking for? My best friend definitely, but with that unexplainable element of chemistry, you know that spark that makes your heart beat a little faster. I’d like to find someone who is kind, honest, and understanding that I communicate well with and brings out the best in me. Someone I can sit down and discuss life and the things that are important to us, and in the next breath we laugh until our eyes water.
