Date men from United States / Colorado, 43 year old - page 82

Date a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I'm the type of guy who loves a good conversation over some delicious food. To me, an ideal night is spending time talking, laughing, and learning about interesting things along with some great food and drink.
My friends would describe me as someone who likes to make people laugh, and is easy to get to know.
I'm glad to be back in Denver after going to school and working in California and DC. Although I've lived in France and England, there's no place like home!
In my free time besides getting my sports fix (not an obsession), I like to read thought-provoking books, watch gritty TV shows, listen to hip hop and jazz music. I'm currently writing and researching a book on the history of soul food...and that makes for some interesting tales.
I'm looking for someone who wants to explore the spiritual and cultural side of life and is not afraid to take some chances. If you love good food, conversation, and love to laugh, then let's connect!

Meet single man from Colorado, United States. I am a hard working and very easy going. I enjoy my work but also enjoy the time away with a special someone or family. Family is my first priority and the women that I am attracted to feel the same way. My perfect match would enjoy just hanging out at home or taking a nice drive in the mountains and spending time with family.

Date someone special from Colorado, United States. I have to write something in here so I am just putting stuff down to keep moving on right now. I have two awesome boys, love my job, travel and sporting events... Live that is. Finally, I don't know that I have a perfect match but I love long hair, great fingernails and an outgoing personality.

Meet a man from Colorado, United States. Hi!
I love to laugh, look for the best in everything, and rarely get upset (slow drivers in the left lane are my weak point). I consider myself to have a positive personality and sociable, trying to take advantage of random activities - weekend getaways, camping, time at the park, dinner parties, or whatever is thrown out there.
Last summer I did the Denver Cruisers on Wednesday nights (bike-ride around town with 300-1000 people), was on a kickball team and run club, climbed a 14er, went camping, ran a 1/2 marathon, made some good new friends, made sushi, sang karaoke, and wore a tux to a formal dance...to name a few.
I like group activities, but having one-on-ones with the person I really care about - watching movies, private evenings in or out, cooking (but hate to do that by myself) ...whatever, is hard to beat.
After thirteen years of selling hotels, I got my MBA and MS in finance to get into healthcare...business analysis for UnitedHealth Group. I work hard, but set aside plenty of time aside for the good stuff. I believe it's important to get involved in each other’s lives and activities. I am a kid at heart and joke around a lot, but know when to get serious...generally.
The regular "active" activities that I like are tennis, hiking, camping, skiing, mountain biking, time at the gym, traveling (!)...and willing to do just about everything else - but not particularly great at any one thing (except traveling - I'm pretty good at that!). I've been to some great places - Canada, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and others. My favorites are Italy, Spain and Thailand (and I got 3 credits for school for that one too!). There are so many other countries that I want to visit, so I'm not slowin' down!
I am very close with my family and value them as an important part of my life. I'm looking for someone that is considerate (I just don't get inconsiderate people!!!) of others, loves to laugh and have fun ...don't we all! She (you) cares about and for herself. She appreciates what is given to her and is in her nature to reciprocate...surprises, unplanned events, etc. She should be caring, affectionate, spontaneous, driven in her interests, open to new things and activities, willing to visit new places, and comfortable just languishing for hours on a Saturday morning but can also dress up and head out... and, I'm always looking for a tennis partner.
So, since captions aren't allowed here, all of my pictures were taken in Hawaii in 2009, except for my profile pic where I look like I really want to be a monk (I'm not )- it was taken in March of 2010 during a charity event.
If we share some of the same interests/outlooks, give me a wink, smoke signal or email and I'll take it from there!

Meet single man from United States. First, this site seems to have issues, and not many users. I'm allowing my profile here to expire, and returning to AFF.
Well, where do I start? I have 2 little Sons that are my world to me. I work long hours at a great job. This means that I'm unable to go very far from my general area around home. And I get rather lonely at times. Hobbies only can get one so far. I smoke and roll my own cigarettes at about a dollar a pack. I work with leather, can sew, cook, and do NOT drive like a maniac on the roads. I'm on the computer a lot making music, playing games, and just looking online for things.

. About ten years ago, I went traveling through Latin America and the Caribbean for ten months. At the end of the journey, I bought some gift and jewelry items -- enough to sell and make a little profit or to have a generous holiday season with friends and family. One thing led to another, and through lots of hard work, the buying and selling has grown into a successful business.
I enjoy eclectic conversation with people with interesting minds that might dance across the personal, philosophical, anthropological, scientific, psychological, silly. I have a voracious appetite for fascinating information about the world in which we live.
Friends and family consider me to be a good active and therapeutic listener. It's a skill that I learned in various mediation trainings. I'm reciprocal. I believe that it is true that you can negotiate anything. I believe in the power of listening
I've eaten iguana in Mexico and pigeon in Morocco, danced salsa in the Cuba, trekked in Ladakh, meditated at a monastery in Spain, been the only non-Cakchiquel speaker at a wedding. I want to go to Ethiopia (love the food), and Ghana (I learned the dances of the Ga people in college, but I have never been). My current challenge is developing my business (delegating, automating), so that I can travel to places other than Guatemala.
Left on my own, I play basketball and soccer, travel, and occasionally dance. I taught swing dance at a Fred Astaire Dance Studio. I love being in nature, and all of the outdoorsy activities that Colorado offers (hiking, biking, skiing), but I flow more frequently and naturally into urban activities.
I tell folktales like the story of the Prince Who Lost His Mind and Thought He Was A Rooster. I am the tone deaf Mariachi. I love playing improv comedy games and took a wonderful video-making class last fall.
I tend not to watch a movie twice, except Pulp Fiction, which I have watched several times, and occasionally quote. I am fascinated by the anthropological shows on the Discovery Channel. I occasionally like to unwind watching basketball or soccer.
I have a spiritual side which I try to express in personal and business ethics -- in treating people well.
I strive to be both relaxed and proactive.
I have a competitive, assertive, ambitious, focused side. I enjoy being in positions of leadership, and speaking in front of large groups of people. I am an extrovert who likes to spend time alone.
I'm attracted to women who are intellectual, spirited, artistic. Extra points for dancing, for singing in the car with me, for mimicry.
I tend to connect with people who are capable of free association, symbolic thought, and improvisational silliness.
I want have a family, but only if it is based in an excellent relationship. I'm looking for someone with whom I can have fun doing most things and can talk with about almost anything.

. I woukd like to find someone who shares the same interest as me and see where it goes. After a day of work I want to spend time with enjoyable company. I'm not your knight in shinning armor, I'm just a guy on a horse.

. I intend to fill this out at another time. I'm not sure if this service even works. I've heard both positive and negative stories about internet dating and this site in particular. I'm writing this since Match is forcing me to type at least 200 words. Yada Yada Yada ;)!
