I am a father of two boys 14 and 17.
I go to school at Regis University, studying Environmental Science and Biology.
I do Cross Fit training 3 times a week and I do a boot camp on Sundays. Trying to get and stay in good physical shape to go with my mental and emotional fitness.
I work for the USGS in the National Water Quality Laboratory. I test water samples from all over the US and US territories to see what types fo pollutants are present, if any.
I enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places. I have lived here most of my life, but have not seen very much of it. I plan on hiking to see more of what Colorado has to offer.
I am looking for a fun, laid back, non judgmental, down to earth woman that would like to take things slow. I would like to finish a few goals before getting to the moving in together stage.

. Ok, let's start: I'll first apologize for any typos I might have.. I'm not and English major...
In no particular order, I'll throw out some key words that describe what I like to do. If you recognize some of them in yourself, I suggest you read on. If you don't read on, I swear I won't be upset! I guess I'll never know anyways..
Last minute plans, travel, sports, exercise, music, open mind, spontaneity, going out (but also staying in), movies, down to earth, casual, news, work, food, sense of humor (ability to laugh at self).
And to close: Curious about the world around me, can take a joke and not easily offended, believe that sarcasm is a spice of life and am generally happy. The rest is negotiable.

. I have been told and personally consider myself to be a very fun and outgoing person! I like to live life to it's fullest, never looking back or having any regrets! I am a extremely organized person and take great pride in everything that I have worked so hard for! I have my own business and have taken it to the next level with my hard work and success! Now that I have reached the emotional, physical and financial stability I was after, I want to focus on my happiness and am looking for the perfect person to do this with! Call me "old school" but I feel times have changed and men do not treat women with the utmost respect anymore, which is sad! . I recently got a second chance at being alive, so that's pretty sweet. The part where I almost bought a farm wasn't sweet, I mean, but it's been good news ever since then. It's a moderately interesting story, but I've found that telling it at parties it basically sounds like this: "I got turned into a newt! I got better." ;)
I'm a liberal person, curious about people and nature and history and all like that. I visited Western Australia recently, for the second time. That was just a huge amount of fun. This time around, I spent more time on beaches and swimming, and visited the Margaret River region which is the main wine-producing area of WA. Good stuff! They also had a couple breweries down there, so what's not to love?
I have some pretty terrific friends that I value a great deal. More friends than I realized, actually. It's tough keeping up with em, since they tend to move all over the place as time passes. A few I talk to mostly online or by texting, which is fine but also a bummer, you know?
I got a nifty guitar for christmas (last year) -- I have a few, this new one is a steel-string acoustic --so I've been trying to learn new stuff to play. Music is hard.
Who am I looking for? I think I have some idea but it's difficult to express properly. I'm hoping to have some interesting conversations at least. I'll be honest, meeting people is for the brave, or the crazy. I'm one of those, anyway. ;)
