I am looking for a woman who can think for herself. Brains and education have always been more important to me than a "shoulder trophy." I have an excellent vocabulary, but I can not spell those words that are in my head.
There is a lot of "hot fluff" that people say, but when it come right down to it they they are all talk and no action. If we are on a drive and get a flat tire I will get out and change it. I will not call for help on my cell phone and tell some big fancy story later.
Here is the bottom line. If we were walking down the street at night and there were a couple people stumbling a round drunk I would offer to get them a taxi to take them home safely. I have always been the type of person to give those in need a hand up. I will not just give hand out.
I enjoy camping (primitive style), computer games (that make you think, not MMO games that you have to pay a subscription for), Hiking, Dungeons & Dragons (Table-Top style), Board Games, Mountain climbing, card games, playing in the snow, cuddling with hot chocolate. Snowboarding, reading books. (mostly fantasy fiction and science fiction.), Horse back riding, the list goes on.
I prefer to just take a walk around the neighborhood or drive up to the mountains and hike around instead of spending money to go to a gym.
I love science fiction and fantasy fiction movies that are at least somewhat intelligent. I get a lot more joy out of reading books, doing puzzles, playing games on my computer that the vast majority of what is on TV.
I would rather play sports than watch.

I own a telecommunications company, providing structured cabling solutions for Data and Voice needs. For the first time I find myself stable in life, making the kind of money that I think I deserve after 15 years of doing the same thing. Over the last five years I have traveled from New York to California for business reasons. A few years ago I restructured the company so I didn't have to travel as much and have enjoyed most of the year at home. I don't have a college degrees but, I hold 7 Certifications and 15 years-in-field experience which counts for more than any college degree.
In that time, I also bought a new house and I have an incredibly great dog that pretty much goes everywhere with me now. I live next to the greatest neighbors which have become some of my best friends.
I love the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, boating, swimming, etc.
I love movies and enjoy anything from a good drama to a way out sci-fi. I am definitely a Star Wars, Star Trek fan.
My favorite genre of music is techno, but enjoy a wide range of music from rock to classical. Most all except country and death metal. I can't stand the crying or the screaming :)
