Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Overall, I'm a diverse person with a huge drive to be successful at much of what I do in my life. I have spent years in school and training to finally be in a place of professional satisfaction. I love what I do, but enjoy my time off at least as much, and love to travel the world. I have a work hard, play hard schedule, which allows me the opportunity to always be planning something, which is of course more fun when shared with someone you care about.
It is very difficult to convey your personality in a few sentences, but I'd have to say that I have a dual personality, which extends to most of what I do with my life. I love to travel, explore, and learn new things, yet treasure quiet time, with a good book, friends and family, and/or a good glass of wine or beer. I enjoy working out and staying fit, but am quick to skip a workout for a great time. I have trained for foreign marathons, and Oktoberfest at the same time...and completed them both. I'm about as even-tempered as they come, as most of my friends have never seen me mad, but yet intense about most goals in my life. I like Top 40 music as much as I like oldies and classical.
A wise person once told me that if you have just one friend in your life that you can absolutely count on, no matter what, consider yourself lucky. I consider myself extremely fortunate because I have a number of amazing friends who meet this criteria. My family is equally great, and my parents are closing in on 50 years of marriage.
I would like to find someone who is kind-hearted, spontaneous and fun, who will challenge me and let me challenge them. I live and look below my age, and while responsible, don't want to grow up too fast. Life is too short to slip into boredom and monotony!

Date someone special from Colorado, United States. Well... since I can't articulate "who I'm looking for" very well, I'll just share ten quick facts about me...
- I'm half-German, so I have a slight propensity for drinking beer, eating cheese, and singing folk songs in public.
- I don't really know where home is. Family is now in Bavaria, but I have lived on three continents and in 12 countries in my life.
- I am the only boy in my family and have three sisters. My little sis is without a doubt my best friend in the world.
- I don't admit it often but I spent my formative years in Texas, played high school football, even dated a cheerleader. Don't hold it against me. People can change.
- I have three degrees but no longer work in any of those fields. Money well spent.
- After a decade of international development work (mostly in Africa), I decided to try something new and became a tech entrepreneur. Best decision of my life.
- I have a beautiful dog that I inherited last year, but the great doggie love of my life passed away a few years ago. His epitaph is tattooed in Arabic on my triceps.
- I love music. There is always a soundtrack playing to my life. Recently some of that music has become my own. I play the guitar a bit but have played the cello since I was 7.
- My favorite hobbies come from water and gradient. In the winter you'll usually find me on a mountain in the snow. And in the spring/summer I will almost always be on a river with my best friends.
- When I was a young boy I was once asked what I wanted to be when I grow up. I said that I wanted to be a wise old man (thanks Opa). I still believe that, he who dies with the most stories wins.

Meet single man from Colorado, United States. Brutal, up-front honesty: in March 2010, I was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's Disease. I put this first because it's a heavy burden, and something that is important about me: it's a part of "who I am." But it's not all gloom and doom! The diagnosis has changed and improved my outlook on life: I actively seek a "beautiful moment" each and every day; it can be a thought, a memory, or an experience -- basically, just something that excites me; that makes me feel extremely happy about being alive and able to experience this beautiful planet. I'm looking for someone to share that with.... and I am extremely adventourous, active, and am looking for someone to push me to stay active; someone who has a similar lust and love for life. And so here's more about me:
I have two young children who mean the world to me. I also have a great job that I love, but it requires that I travel fairly frequently. With all that, I find it hard to find time to meet new people...
I'm most comfortable in jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, but I wear a suit and tie when I'm working / with clients, and I've been told I clean up quite nicely.
I moved around a bit as a kid (which may be why I love travel and seeing new places). I was born in CA, spent elementary school in DE, middle school in Germany, high school back in DE, college and business school in PA. While I miss my friends who live back east, the only other thing I really is miss is the beach (I spent 3 summers lifeguarding at a beach in DE, and I LOVE swimming in the ocean).
I moved to CO 10 years ago, and absolutely love it here. I truly feel fortunate to live in such a gorgeous state. Other than trying to keep up with my kids, hiking/backpacking and skiing are my favorite active activities.
I have a sarcastic, sometimes dry, sometimes childish, and sometimes outrageous sense of humor. A number of people have told me I'm the funniesy person they ever met. I love laughing, but more, I love making people laugh.
I'm thoughtful, caring, kind, romantic, and passionate. And while I'll strive to spoil you, I'll want you to want to spoil me, too. Simply put, I love giving, but I also love receiving. :-) If that sounds like you, I'd like to meet you.

Date a man from United States. single, never married, no children looking for a well rounded, intelligent, grounded yet fun woman who has a variety of interests, is athletic and active, down to earth, and would like a serious relationship. I am certainly looking for friends and dating, but am hoping to find that someone to partner with ultimately. I am the communicative, faithful, intelligent nice Guy

Meet a soulmate from United States. Describe myself and my ideal match. Okay: I am reasonably outgoing and somewhat reserved. I am a former Army Paratrooper, but I have no desire to jump out of high performance aircraft ever again...My social style is probably Expressive/Amiable - if you're into Wilson Learning mumbo jumbo. It means that I smile a lot and talk with my hands sometimes. I'm people-orinted and ask-assertive. I have a dry sense of humor, which is another way of saying I'm not very funny. Just kidding.
I own a home in FC and enjoy my work, and just recently moved back to town after a 5-year hiatus. I am somewhat talkative, but mostly in small groups and not in big ones. It doesn't bother me if I'm not the center of attention. And while I do like my private time, I also enjoy gatherings and going out.
I think family is important. So is having a solid foundation in a sense of purpose - even if you don't know what that is yet. You have to believe that there is a purpose for you out there. Being goal-oriented is good, but not at the expense of harming other people. It also is bad if you have felony convictions or are unable to attend certain bars because they "know" you.
Honesty and integrity are important. I don't care at all for flaky. If you think you may be flaky, you are.
It would be great to meet a woman who is self-confident and gets along well with others. She probably enjoys spending time privately and with friends. Someone who wants to explore life and what it has to offer, values me (and vice vesa), and is willing to take things day by day.
And for crying out loud, enjoy life!

. If ineterested in my profile just ask for pic. I have a easy going personality and people tell me i look serious alot but really I have a fun loving personality. I am financially stable and have a secure job. I just remodeled my home doing most of the work myself, . I figured i could do a as good of a job or better than paying someone else and it would be a fun experience plus i got to buy some new tools... you know men and there tools and toys. I am a thinker, investor, innovator, comedian, traveler and sometimes alone. I am not looking to jump into a relationship but hope to find someone to spend time with at first. I hope to find someone that likes outdoors(summer or winter), travel, alone time and challenges. Athletic, a range of knowledge, sense of humor and killer smile can bring me to my knees.for

. Like most people, I do not enjoy trying to describe myself to online strangers, so I will keep it simple. I am attractive, fun, witty, hard-working, intelligent....and I am searching for similar characteristics in a partner.

. Hello, not flawless, I do have an automorphic resonance of careing, comonsense and an infinite number of irresolute prime ideals. Such as heart, head, patients, and priorities. Desire, the desire to do whats right. Passion, the passion to be counted on. To be the one who will catch your tears, and water your laughter, smile to blossom. Quick and zesty sense of intimacies that escapes thier bounderies, while sings to our time of unconscious signaling and gestures sent and recieved without a word It can happen. Happen in the silent numbness of a dream. Or perhaps in the bright awakening apon meeting the woman I've been searching for my adult life. A dream, then wake me, A wish, then I wish you were there!...

. I've rewritten this a few times and it still doesn't really sound like me. I grew up in Ohio, graduated from a Catholic high school near Cincinnati. After that, I certainly don't believe in organized religion. Joined the Navy after that, spent 5 years there and got myself straightened out a bit. I cuss like a sailor, but I figure I earned that. I went back to Ohio for college and graduated from Miami University in 2004. During college, I was running a tattoo shop so I have a good bit of ink. I enjoy snowboarding, but it seems like I only get to go once or twice a year. I also really enjoy going the Avs games, but other than hockey I'm not a big sports fan.
I consider myself to be open to most ideas. I really don't like dance clubs and Phish is not my thing. I don't want to be constantly arguing with someone, heard enough of that growing up. If you've spent the last 20 years working complaining about your job and haven't done anything to get out of it, we're probably not going to get along.
I'd rather get to know someone over a quiet beer instead of trying to make up some elaborate date, we can get to that later. Exchanging a few emails here is cool, but I didn't join Match to find a pen-pal.
