I enjoy I enjoy what I do for a living (working hard), Playing in the mountains doing whatever (playing hard), and r & r (resting). In that order. I know this sounds kind of general but really I'm up for anything. Lately I find myself hiking ridge lines in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area. This is something I can do by myself or with my dog. I would like to think that I'm a motivated individual.
I've been told by close friends and others that I'm strong willed. I think this is a quality of mine but I suppose in some cases it could be, and has been, a detraction. I believe in human kindness. We are all on this earth and when people act as a community big things happen. I think that I'm trustworty, honest, and giving. I have a saying, "I'll give you a hand as long as you don't take the arm." This wouldn't apply to a significant other though.
I've been told that I'm more of a 'mans man' type of guy. You can read into that as much as you'd like. What I'd like from a woman is this; She must be strong. not physically although capable. She has to be somewhat into being outside for fun, although we don't have to have the same interests. Just some common ground would be good. She must want the same thing out of a relationship. To be with me and only me. Cheaters move on. I want to grow old with this person. I want every potential arguement to end with a kiss not with "I'm Leaving." Do you think that I'm asking for too much?

I moved to Colorado from the east coast in '06, and have so far enjoyed just about everything here, mostly the sunny weather and friends. I love to laugh and more importantly, make others laugh. I am a funny guy who enjoys playing guitar. I have a good job in the military band. I have traveled all over the world with my job, and loved almost every minute of it. I have also lived in 6 different places in the last 13 years, and have experienced many great people along the way. The only problem is, is that I have no one to share it with. I am faithful, loyal, funny, and (from some angles) good looking.
I guarantee you will never have a dull moment with me. I am a little bit zany, but when it comes down to doing the right thing, I am all for that! I enjoy IPA's, and good food. When I say I am trying to quit smoking, I really mean it! I have just been prescribed chantix and start taking it next week. (i have heard great success rates on the stuff).
I am a loving father. I love my son very much even though he is all the way in California. All of my vacations are to him. Even though I have not lived with him, for some time now, we have a good relationship even though 14 is a crappy age.

I really love music! All kinds of music, from Miles Davis to Hank Williams and everything in between. I could talk for hours about any style of music, and would be happier than a pig in poop! I love playing music. I am pretty good at guitar and went to a good college for it (Berklee College of Music). I am always trying to get better, and luckily, I work with some great musicians that challenge me everyday.

People that know me well would say that I am a good-hearted person with integrity, who is caring and thoughtful. I am very active, in good shape and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I feel like I am 25, but I am 40, almost everyone tells me I look like I am 30 and I even get carded sometimes, you go figure, LOL. I will reciprocate everything that I am looking for 100%. I love all types of music and depending on my mood, I listen to anything from Christian & dance to hip-hop & top 40!
