Date a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Hi, I just moved to Denver from Washington DC. Here are a few highlights regarding may past: I am originally from DE. I went to college in South Carolina and law school in Washington DC. I am now doing consulting work here in Denver. So far I am really enjoying it here. I like the fact that it is micro brew heaven, not to mention the fact that the Mountains are so close.
I am the outgoing type and get bored staying in too often. Or maybe I just have ADD..not sure! I just bought a motorcycle and hope to do a lot of riding as well as race at the track.
I am interested in finding someone that has a few of the same interests as myself: tennis, volleyball, travel, cooking, running, family, skiing, volunteering, history, theatre, just to name a few areas of interest. I am not looking for someone that is exactly like me but one or two common interests would be nice. I like all types of people and am just as happy at a hole in the wall listening to a garage band as I am at the country club playing a round of golf.
Meet a man from Colorado, United States. I moved to Boulder from New York after a 10 year detour in California, during which I led backpacking trips, taught outdoor ed and had many adventures. I cherish spontaneity and rambunctious belly-aching laughter. I am a rock star (well in my head at least). I like to teach, learn, to love and be loved. I am a searcher and everything that encompasses.
I've travelled all over North and South America (love Peru and Brazil, Alaska and the Yukon), as well as Europe and Australia. I have a sincere desire to interact with all kinds of people (from folks I meet on the trail to the cafe), enjoy a good glass of wine and a good cup of coffee, but I don't like beer (I know I know, it's an acquired taste - but at this point I haven't acquired it and I'm ok with that). I really enjoy geeking out on science (space, nature), photography and pop culture (music, moves and books). And I seem to have an affinity for parentheticals.
June: I'm in Prague, sitting at a streetside cafe, sipping Czeck wine, watching people stroll by. A couple stops in front of me; he taking pictures, she posing head back, hair falling down, foot raised, leg bent, smiling. And it hits me how much I want that., not her, but rather the partner to share the adventures with, to lean from, to pose in our pictures together, to explore life. It's the romantic in me, what can I say?
And, in the end, I am more than the sum of these words.
Date someone special from Colorado, United States. This is the part that I hate the most of all. Trying to say things about myself. I am more into showing people how I am than trying to convey thru words about who I am, but I will give it a shot. So, allot of people say that I have a mean or angry look on my face all the time which allot of people think that I am a (in nicer words) jerk or a intense type of person. This the far from the truth, I am a very shy, easy going, humble person. I just don't smile all of the time cause really, I don’t like my smile. But if the right person comes along and can change this, that would be awesome. I am not a man of many words and quite time is great also. There doesn't have to be talking all time between us. Sometimes just being around someone is enough and words can either mess things up or just plain ruin the moment. To find out more about me, just ask and I will tell you. I have nothing to hide.
I am looking for someone that I have similar interests in and that we can hang out enjoy the time together. But also having time to one self is good too. Someone that has a good sense of humor and can take but dish out the sarcasm also. Someone that likes to travel, movies, dancing , hiking, biking, camping, fishing, really a outdoor person. A tom boy at heart but when going out on the town, dressing up like a lady.
Also what I am looking for out of this is a friendship that can turn into something else. Long term is my goal but we will see what happens???
Meet single man from Colorado, United States. I dislike this self-classification, but it needs to be done for this online weirdness so I'll throw all my strange cards down as best I can:
A coalescence of goofy and sincere (read: geek!). I'm a strong man who thrives with a strong woman. I am thoroughly sapiosexual (If you don't know it, Google it...I'll wait). I am an excellent listener and one of those folks that friends take for coffee and spill their guts to. I WILL ask you how your day's been and really want to know. I'm some sort of bad boy hipster geek who loves music of all types but am mostly fixated on Alt.Americana as of this moment.
I seem to get along better with kids half my age. I grew up an angry punk rock kid on the streets of Baltimore, all sex, drugs rock n' roll, I still have that punk rock spirit but most of my patterns have changed as I got older, though. I'm cynically respectful, cautiously spiritual (Raised with Jewish guilt but I've shed that in favor of something that looks a lot like Buddhism), goal oriented (I'm currently in Nursing School), and very laid back in an intense sort of way.
Everybody thinks they have a great sense of humor; of course, I can be witty and occasionally sarcastic, hell, meet me and decide that for yourself.
When I "grow up" I want to write for a living. I've had several stories and poems published. I prefer my conversations grounded in reality though I do live in Boulder, CO so I understand Woo-Woo fluently...I'm ashamed to admit.
I think heavy conversations are great as long as you can see through the prism of absurdity and are able to laugh at yourself. I laugh a good bit and smile even more. I'm looking for a partner who can slam through all the silliness with me and land on the ground...safe in my large loving arms. A great match would be someone steeped in culture but not pretense...self-aware, spiritually aware and physically aware. I am rambling on the road toward those things and hope the road doesn't end too damn soon.
I've been really gettin' into riding my motorcycle lately, It's a classic '72 Triumph, right this second it's in pieces but I've got an extra leather for you to ride on the back this spring. Or maybe you've got your own bike...even better!
Love movies, art, camping, hiking, reading and writing, working out whenever I get the chance. I'd love for someone to introduce me to climbing. Love seeing live music, I'm a sucker for bad sci-fi and I tend to geek out on the stuff I'm into at any given moment. I soak in details and kick ass at Trivial Pursuit. I love the way the BBC pronounces words, I believe what NPR tells me...mostly.
I find the mundane fascinating…what fascinates you?
Date a soulmate from United States. I work hard and play harder. I love my friends and family even though my fam is in Nevada and California.
I've been here in Denver for ten years now, and so far so good. I like where I am in life. I would like someone to share it with.
Meet a man from United States. Well I'd like to think two. I'm an easy going guy who is looking for an easy going gal.
I like to spend my free time in the outdoors. Whether it is on my mountain bike, on trail hikes, or boarding in the winter, these are the times I enjoy the most. I find it important to keep myself fit in order to enjoy these activities. I am a transplant from the mid-west. I have lived in Denver for about three years, and I find that Colorado suits me well. There is always something to do.
Festivals, fairs, live music, museums, Rockies, Nuggets (I know, Broncos are conspicuously missing, will always be a Chiefs fan!), and plays are all a good start for a date. Afterword, dinner is always nice. I like dinning out or collaborating together on a meal in. Wine tastings are a great time! I have a sweet tooth, but I don't always give in to it.
My friends are very important to me. Their influence and advice are what grounds us when we need it and lifts us when we are down. I am happy to be there for any friend of mine.
I am always open to new experiences. There are many things on my life's "to do" list that I am ready to share and start checking off. Who knows, maybe it will be with you.
One last thing to all you 5' nothin' ladies who are looking for your step ladders and 6'6 " men, you are killing this guy's dating pool. ;-) So, lets put those ladders away ladies. If you need anything up high, I promise I'll get it for you.

Meet single man from United States. Remember the old soda commercial where, after a couple of swigs of the caffeinated brew, the young, athletic guys were jumping off of boulders and climbing trees on their mountain bikes? That's me! I'll karate chop a Spotted Owl for looking at me cross-ways...7 seconds in the Octagon with me and Chuck Liddell would be shaking in his pantaloons. I ski UP the mountain. I really do blow the smoke off the barrel of my .45 after the shoot out, and the spinning move i do when I holster that bad boy has made grown "men" cry. I build muscle cars while riding my Harley and drink mescal out of the broken neck of the dirty bottle. I make love like a barbarian and rip phone books in half with my perfectly shaped teeth and rugged jaw. I help old ladies across the street whether they need it or not. Yup...I'm a real catch.
LOL
I can not believe some of these profiles I've read. Really? That much testosterone in one body? Ugh.
Here's the real deal. I like hiking around in the desert with my dogs. I do have a .45 but I don't think I've ever seen smoke come out of it. If I did, I'd probably drop it and run. I haven't skiid since I was a kid...growing up in Aspen was hard on my knees. I sort of like living alone so I'm not in this for a roommate and getting married again after 8 years of bachelorhood...well, that would take something/someone pretty special. I like kids, I have one of my own. It's medically impossible for me to do it again (best $75 copayment I've ever laid down, thank you Blue Cross) so someone looking for pitter-pattering lil feet should keep moving.
I guess I'm looking for a committed, monogamous, dating relationship...somebody to go places and do stuff with...and let things progress from there if it is meant to be. My 7 year old (she lives in a nearby town) doesn't need a stepmom so don't worry about that and please know she WILL ALWAYS COME FIRST.
Maybe a list will help. Here are some critical must have's for my "match", listed in no particular order as they are all important to me.
1) A keen sense of humor
2) A job
3) Kindness
4) Honesty (I REPEAT! Honesty)...when not filling out profile information (cough)
5) working knowledge of the Golden Rule
6) Patience
7) Relative Cleanliness (no rotting things in the sink, bathtub, or car trunk)
8) Drug Free (I'm sort of anti-crack pipe under the pillow. Prudish, I know)
9) Conversational Skills
10) a General Positive Outlook (life can't really suck ALL the time!)
11) oh, and please, NO ALCOHOLICS. A drink or three, cool...two bottles of wine a night...not so cool
So, that's it. Thanks for checking this out and maybe we'll talk soon. ;-)
. In the interest of full disclosure, I recently heard Brad Pitt is refusing to do any more nude scenes and they're trying to find a butt double for him...so it's possible I may have to leave Denver in the near future to pursue this new job opportunity. I still haven't heard back from the Hollywood producers, but my phone could be ringing any day now.
A little bit about me: I believe in honesty and respect, and the healing power of laughter. I don’t understand people who can't enjoy themselves and dwell on things that upset them. I feel like life is too short, and people tend to focus on the wrong things when seeking happiness. I believe cooking for one person isn't really cooking. I believe smoking is disgusting...but some people make it look really cool. I believe jazz clubs should make a comeback. I believe the future hasn't happened and we're in control of our own destiny. I believe you can never outgrow cartoons. I believe that people who share the right chemistry can communicate more with one look than others can in a whole conversation. I believe kids had it better back in the day. I believe hardcover books look better on your bookshelves, but soft covers are easier to read. I believe the time for goatees has long expired. I believe I misspelled 'believe' at least once here. I believe music can be extremely powerful. I believe we only get one go-around in this crazy world, so we have to make the best of it. I seek good madness.
I like people who are smart, honest and funny. If you'd like to be my 'match', cute is pretty important too. Make me laugh, and I'll want to see more of you. If I do something wrong or stupid, tell me...once. Since I've been asked to describe my 'perfect' match the following should be included in here somewhere: coffee lover, expressive eyes, has a cute laugh, rock climber, patient, cyclist, caring, honest, heiress of a large fortune, great if not sometimes crazy/sick/bizarre sense of humor, likes to read, likes to cook, doesn't blow little things out of proportion, hiker, enjoys road trips, enjoys watching movies, thinks reality TV is ruining the entertainment industry (with the obvious exception of the 'good' reality shows), can talk a cop out of giving her boyfriend a ticket, loves to do dishes and laundry, is not afraid to go out without makeup, can turn grocery shopping into an adventure, likes seeing live music. That said, 'perfect' is a tall order, so I realize i may have to settle for someone who's missing one or two of those traits.
If you find me interesting, throw me a wink or send a funny email, and I'll get in touch with you.
. I grew up in Atlanta so I have some of those Southern charms, but I’ve been out here for the last nine years. And I’m definitely here in Colorado to stay. After all, Colorado is just such an excellent place. I enjoy hiking, fly fishing, and skiing, and am learning to whitewater kayak this summer. I also enjoy cooking and hanging out with my friends. And I love curling up with a good book. And a good laugh is always welcome; laughter is sublime. I love going to concerts. That was my New Year resolution this year – to go to more concerts. So what would I go see? Shows at the Hi Dive. Gotye. Ghostland Observatory. Cake. Metric. Pretty Lights. Thievery Corporation. Classical concerts. Red Rocks (who won’t go?). Who knows what else? I’m open to almost any music. Having said all of this, I’ll try anything at least once, so just ask. Friends say I am a caring person who is extremely loyal to those close to me. I’ll also project on them and say that I’m pretty sharp and witty. My match is a woman who enjoys getting dressed up for a Friday night on the town, and then goes on a hike the next day, getting appropriately dirty, of course. (Bonus points if you whitewater kayak.) She’d be witty and charming as well.
. Hello!
I would have to say I am like a little kid, I still love to play outside!
I have lived in the mountains for about 18 years. Enjoying living here I have been able to ski a bunch of powder day. Have seen some beautiful sunsets on the lake sailing. Hiked into some awe inspiring canyons flyfishing. I have been blessed with the the places I have been. Travel is one of my passions, seeing new places or heading back to see friends in places I been.
I am a kind, caring, easy going guy that loves adventure.
Life is full of adventures. I am looking for a woman that loves to be outside living life. I am looking for a woman that is not afraid to get dirty, Hiking, biking, sailing, skiing/ snowboarding, fishing, traveling and camping, all those fun things. After we get drirty I still am looking for a woman that like to dress up and head to a great dinner.
An ideal date would be a afternoon sailing on the lake. Then see what happens. Dinner, A walk, who knows. Its part of the adventure!
. I'm a fun loving guy that likes to play in the outdoors. I enjoy trail running, hiking, whitewater kayaking, rafting, and traveling in general.
I'm looking to find a partner I really connect with on an emotional and sexual level. I believe the intimatesexual connection between two people is the most important (and mysterious) aspect of a relationship.
The woman I'm looking for should know what she wants and not be afraid to go after it. She should be self-confident, beautiful and intelligent. She should like to have meaningful conversations as well as just have fun.
Ideally she would enjoy playing in the outdoors as much as I do and take very good care of herself physically. She would make a good living of her own, have flexible time-off and love to travel.
