Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. Traveling is absolutly my favorite thing to do, hands down. Being in the outdoors is where I prefer to be. Aspen has so many wonderful areas to explore. Some of my favorite spots are: Crater Lake, anywhere on the Fryingpan river, Independence Pass, Government trail, and Marron Bells/Snowmass Wilderness area. In the summer I enjoy hiking/camping, tubing down the river, paddle boarding, the punch bowl, kayaking, fly-fishing and going to Red Rocks as much as possible. During the winter I hike Highland Bowl almost everyday off then hit Snowmass for some more turns and apres. A good road trip to anywhere, really anywhere is something I love to do. I'm not all that great at describing myself but here goes: I think I'm funny, quirky, articulate, well manored, laid back and a bit of a free spirit. . I have experienced a lot in my life, traveled extensively in South America and some in Europe. When I travel, I like to get out of the hotel and explore the local scene. For me, the joy of traveling is exploring the local culture. I have to say that I really love living in Colorado. The weather is beautiful. Yes even the snow. I get to go camping in the summer and skiing in the winter. It just doesn't bet much better than that. I also like to visit old mining towns and explore what it was like to live in the rough and tumble West.
I earned a degree in geosciences from University of Arizona, studied at Colorado School of Mines to become a mining geologist. And yet I now work in IT. That was probably the best choice I have ever made. I love my job. I get to work using my brain every day, solving problems and designing new, innovative solutions. I love it. Plus I get to travel occasionally, and best of all I work at home.
I am a deeply faithful man and I volunteer my time helping men who are struggling or lost in life. I also volunteer my time and money giving to to childhood cancer research. After having two friends whose daughter contracted this terrible disease, I want to part of finding a cure. The rest of my time is spent with my kids, who I love more than anything else.
