I will attempt to be succinct, so, on with a bit about myself. My name is Bill, fifty-five years young, a native Coloradoan raised in a small farming community but moved to the "big city" of Greeley (over thirty years ago). I've been divorced, twice now, and while I am not terribly proud of the fact, I honestly feel "that to each his own". I am not afraid of my "story". Thank You!! My brothers and I have been accused of "being honest to the point of stupidity". Also, I am no longer a member, so for the time being all I can do is "wink".

OK, first things first - I've tried more than 500 times (it seems like) to change my age/dob but Match has rejected it every time for some reason even after multiple contacts to them (are you reading this Match?). I'm 59 now not 55 like my profile says. At the time I started out on this site I apparently entered my age in place of my birth year. Born in 52 I should have been 58. I guess I was excited - sorry for the mix up. My pictures are all current however & I look just like them - still have hair with a little gray and no giant stomach.
Alright, this is the hard part; I know I do much better in person than I do writing about myself but here goes... my pictures are all between 2 months and 2 years old - except for the one with the little black dog. That one's about 4 years old but I was trying to show my friend Mikey instead of me, I guess I could have photo-shopped myself out but then he'd look funny standing there by himself that way.
I like to stay in good health but I'm not fanatical about it. I just try to eat right and exercise to stay in decent shape. Just enough junk food once in a great while to keep me quiet. Like art, concerts, our beautiful mountains, antiques, traveling, plays especially, hardware stores, Lo Do, Cherry Creek and on.
It would be great to find my best friend and soul mate in the same person. Someone understanding, fun, willing to try new things and find new adventures. A traveler and a person that likes the tropics, beaches, palm trees, and the ocean as much as I do or pretty close anyway. I'm really enjoying my life at this point and it would be great to share it with someone special. And-you can take me shopping with you, I sort of enjoy it - OK I'm a guy, is it wrong?
Once again - I hope your sense of humor is intact and working when you're around me. I love to have fun, love to laugh and hope you do too. Nothing better than laughing until your stomach hurts I always say. That said, I can certainly be serious of course and I listen well, you're welcome to talk my ear off. I like to hear what other people have to say and especially someone I'm interested in. I think that's hugely important and the basis for a good relationship. I enjoy getting to know another persons likes, dislikes, quirks, and the million other things that make someone up.
I'm not needy and don't date all that often and I'm definately not a 'serial dater' but I won't settle for someone I don't feel that connection with. One good person is all it takes. I'm really not looking for drama in my life either, been there done that. So if that's part of your personality or make-up please pass me by. Simple is good so is laughter like I said, lots of it.
I honestly do appreciate winks like most people but writing something works much better. Introduce youself with words, I tend to overlook winks.
And lastly- if you're reading this and you're from China or Russia or someplace similar, thank you for the look but please don't consider me. I really don't need to get together with someone that lives in Bejing or Moscow or Manila, I'd have to leave work too early to pick you up plus the pizza would get cold, the beer would be warm, and the ice cream would melt. Nothing worse than melted ice cream. But, if you're from Texas or Arizona or Florida or someplace else warm good, we can find things there that aren't cold, warm, or melted I'm sure.

I've made it a networking hobby, of sorts, to find house concerts that make for really fun dates. It's neat to enjoy the most intimate musical experiences in a person's home or backyard. Music, wine, food, and happy people; all the good stuff. These house concerts also make for great weekend getaways to fun semi-exotic locations. There are some great ones coming up.
Back to basics, I like to cook together and love dining out as one of the five best things to do in life. I have 2 Siberian mix dogs who love to go on hikes all over and they are quite well behaved most of the time. They're really smart and funny but I'm ready for much more. The most important things to these dogs and I are our health, our stability, our loved ones, our adventures and meeting you. If you have a dog or two, let's see if they play well together.
