Date someone special from Colorado, United States. I was born and raised in Denver through high school. Moved away for college on the east coast, then straight to Hawaii, where I lived for almost 14 years. I've just moved back to the CO to be closer to family and old friends (there's a new/first baby in the family that I want to see every day). I'm so excited to be back in town and closer to the people I love, and am relishing the starting-from-a-clean-slate feeling. I'm moving back with lots of luggage, no baggage.
So much for the logistics. I'm an intellectual, driven man with a sarcastic streak looking for a team-mate to share in life's adventures, challenges, and rewards. I'm as loyal and trusting as you will find and I'm also a big believer in the Golden Rule, for better or worse. I have a "work hard, play hard" attitude and don't believe in doing anything halfway, but that doesn't mean a man can't have a plan.
I think the classic dinner date is a great formula, as long as the food and conversation are good. And since I love to cook, the dinner might be from my (or your) kitchen, because if you want something done right, sometimes you have to do it yourself, right? But seriously, we're going out. Too many great restaurants I want to explore.
I've got a strong sense of traditional values as far as what's right and what's wrong, but I'm also a die-hard pragmatist - it if has feathers, quacks, and waddles around, I'm probably going to call it a duck regardless of how I "feel" about it. I do have a few surprises up my ideological sleeve. I've got an uncommon level of internal awareness and can be in touch with my deepest inner psychology, if you want to discuss such things.
I think all good relationships start with a friendship, but the best relationships also start with a spark. I hope to find a best friend, who also feels that spark. Maybe we'll find a beautiful friendship, maybe more.

During the spring/summer I usually spend my free time out riding/training for the few races I do every summer. This takes up a lot of my time, but not so much that I don’t have time for you. We can still go hiking with our dogs, get dressed up and go out to dinner, or maybe just have a BBQ with friends. I enjoy the things Colorado has to offer, from car-camping to rock-climbing and hiking to multi-day mountain climbing trips.
