Meet someone special from United States. Four years at Oklahoma and I decided I wasn't done with school yet, but wanted a change of pace. I am currently enrolled as a grad student at the Colorado School of Mines and enjoy almost every second of it (when was the last time you thought "Yes, I get to take a test today!"). Still the best decision I've made so far in my life. I am studying things that I find interesting (biomechanical engineering, I want to build more dynamic prosthetics that can give people their lives back) and have wanted to live in Colorado since the first time I went skiing. The school also employs me as a teaching assistant for one of the engineering labs. Why would I want to teach a lab? Because I enjoy teaching and every class is an adventure. It also pays for tuition (Yes not going into debt) and random stuff like skis and guitars. I love music; I always have my iPod on me (which I can't say for my wallet, keys, or cell phone) and am teaching myself to play guitar. I love the mountains and particularly the snow, and try to spend as much time skiing or snowboarding as possible. A long run or a bike trip will do nicely in the warmer months.
I really want someone I can talk to and be relaxed with. That takes care of themselves and would join me at the gym. Someone I can have fun with that doesn't mind my nerdy side. I have been all around the country and I enjoy traveling very much. I am currently attending school in ft Collins and love it here. I absolutely love animals and I am not talking about the cooked or deep fried version of it. I pretty much get along with all kinds of pets. dogs, cats, birds... No problem!
I would consider myself to be a quite healthy person. I swim twice a week before work, exercise on the other days and like to cook and eat fresh food. I would appreciate, if you would have a similar attitude or at least respect my quite active lifestyle. In the winter I like to ski quite a bit...In the summer I spend my time with hikes, biking or running.
