Date men from United States / Colorado / Fort Collins, 40 year old - page 2

Date a soulmate from Colorado, United States. At 40 years old I'm commited to getting the most out of the time I have left. I am in good physical shape and expect I'll be around for a long time to come. I enjoy working hard and playing even harder. Right now I am in the process of reinventing my life. I've given up all bad habits and replaced them with meaningful, benificial and healthy ones. I love to explore nature and so spend a lot of time hiking, mountain biking, and taking photos. My motto is: "Life is worth living".

Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. I am a well rounded catch. I grew up in the Midwest (NE) but the school of hard knocks, a three year stint in Philly, and some focused higher education has all conspired to sharpen a couple of my edges. I've been in CO for a decade and consider myself lucky to have landed here.
At the core I would say that I am a balanced individual. As evidence:
I'm open minded, curious and always up for adventure.
I am what would be considered "fit" and enjoy maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. That being said I do not live like a monk. I have in the past, but not right now ;).
I favor playing in the mountains on skis or by foot or by bicycle, and love the change of the seasons.
As much as I love playing in the mountains, my profession draws me to cities and towns.
I am personally and politically progressive, but not so much that I approve of poor manners or poor fiscal policy.
I'm growing and learning something, about some outside subject or myself, every day. This is not a random pursuit but rather a very stubborn effort to incrementally maintain a personal evolution. When I look back at my adult life I don't see a plan that came to fruition but rather a series of happy accidents that are a result of willful action and acceptance/coping with change. I am fortunate to be on this path. I'm happy that I have the capacity to recognize that, take responsibility and/or credit for the things I can claim as my own, but also adapt and let other twists and turns come to me on their own schedule. Because they most surely will.
-------
Overall, I don't take life too seriously and am able to laugh a lot - at myself as well as other things (like you couldn't guess that from some of my profile pictures ...). Thanks to some hard work, and lots of luck things are going pretty good. I am happy, have a great life, and am simply looking for someone special to share it with. I am convinced that that person is out there and am hopeful that our paths will cross in one way or another.
My ideal partner is kind, confident, a flirt, physically active, motivated to succeed on her own terms, has similar values to me, and most of all is willing to form a meaningful partnership that nurtures both of us. That might be a tall order but that is what I am shooting for.
If you feel like we might hit it off, it'd be great to hear from you.
--------
And one more thing. I am working in Denver (but still living in FoCo) these days so if you are in that locale and want to strike up a conversation, don't be shy ...

Date a man from Colorado, United States. I'm a single father of a 16 year old and a musician who works for the state fixing emissions test equipment. I generally hate these kinds of things so am not sure what to put down. I'm better with conversation.
I spent time playing in bands and touring so I love road trips, I've been told however that I'm a bit of a road trip nazi, I generally try to cut the stops down to a minimum but I wouldn't go so far as to call me a nazi about it.
I had someone once say about me "Jeff's worse off than a hopeless romantic, he's a hopeful romantic."
I love to cook. Everything pretty much but tons of Mexican and Asian foods are my favorites. I've also recently become a big fan of cooking Mediterranean food.
I'm looking for a woman who is fun and funny. Cute would be a plus. The less drama the better, but that's probably a given. Shoot me a message and we'll chat.

Date a soulmate from Fort Collins, United States. Well... I like to kid around and be silly. I take the import things serious like work and those I care about in my life but I’m always having a good time while I’m doing it. Most friends say I’m very laid back but extremely energetic at the same time. I love my life and I’m looking for someone who does too. I recently returned to Colorado and Fort Collins has been great to me.
For fun I like being outdoors. It can be a short hike or a 14er, a long ride or just a ride into town for lunch and a beer, back packing or just car camping… you get the idea. I’m athletic but not fanatical about it. I find everything I like to do for fun keeps me feeling like I’m 20 so I’m sticking with it. On a more relaxing note I’m a music nut and consider a night home, cooking up a big meal and playing music or watching a movie as good as any night out on the town. I like eating out too but mostly, I just like eating. Haha..
Who I’m looking for is that silly and caring girl who wants to laugh and have fun. I want to find someone who doesn’t take the small stuff serious but likes working hard and playing hard. I’m always honest (unless I’m try to mess with ya) so I don’t believe in checking to see if the score is even all the time. I give what I have and trust it will be returned. As far as the kiddos, I like the idea of someday having children but I’m more concerned about it being with the right person so if I get swept off my feet by someone who already has kids or doesn't want children at all then that’s the path I’ll take.
So if you’re reading this and I just described a little of you say hello. Good luck.

Meet someone special from Fort Collins, United States. Love to travel. Laughter is key in life. To take life as it comes, very into my kiddos and be the cool fun daddy, NO STRESS for life is too short. Love to keep in shape and do things that make me feel charged in life, stay active, enjoy outdoor activities but in the same sense, I totally know how to get my chill on.

Date a man from Fort Collins, United States. Generally people see me as a very positive person. I'm always in a good mood and just enjoy being alive. I'm grateful for the world around me and all the wondrous things to see and people meet. I would hope to meet someone similar who is interested in seeing the world through different eyes by daily interactions and adventures as well as travel and exploration. Most days I wake up with a smile just knowing that something new will present itself.

Meet single man from Fort Collins, United States. My friends would describe me as loyal, kind, positive, good listener, great with kids and family oreinted. I go with the flow and take things as they come. I am grateful for my family and friends especially my niece and nephew. I try to spend as much time with them as I can. My job keeps me fit I also workout although I am not at my ideal weight.
I'm looking for someone who wants a quality relationship. I want someone who is willing to be adventurous(roller coasters, travel, tours at New Belgium brewery, weekend getaways summer or winter, rock climbing, sky diving, moving to a tropical place for a couple of years :)) I love all of these things if I don't have someone to share it with it does not mean much .
If you are looking for a great guy look no further. We should have some coffee or lunch and find out if we connect.

Date a soulmate from United States. Well, I figured I would give this match.com thing a try for a little while. And I did. I reviewed quite a few profiles and send out many e-mails, to my queries I received perhaps three responses. It seems pretty rude to me, in general, to basically ignore someone else's attempt to say hello.
I don't give up very easily, but this seems fairly pointless to me. So before I cancel this account I am wondering if there are any single moms out there interested in play dates or meeting a good, honest, hard-working man? I'm one of those hero, Boy Scout types, who never hesitates to help someone out in need. I can fix just about anything and take great pleasure in doing so. I typically put the well-being of others before myself and am generous to the point of it being a fault.
Anyway if you are tired of being screwed over, need help with anything, or have stuff to be fixed, why not drop me a line.
I'm looking to meet new friends for myself and my daughter. She makes friends with adults as quickly and easily as she makes friends with kids her own age.
Just like everyone else I ponder the meaning of life and if there is a soulmate out there, just for me. I believe the answer to those questions resides in truth. Think about the people in your life that you trust the most. You trust them because they have been true to you and you know in your heart that they will never betray you. The peace and happiness attained through a relationship with a friend like this has no comparison. Unfortunately, in my experience truly honorable people are few and far between.
I approach every relationship as if it had the potential to be a long-term one. The ex and I used to always argue this point. Her argument was that if you know they are not 'the one', then why bother investing that much effort. My argument was: How do you know they aren't 'the one'? if you approach love, and every relationship as if it's going to fail, then what's the point. we are no longer together, imagine that.
I hold my honor and integrity over all else. I believe that good will always triumph over evil and have always fought for what I believe is right. Having always lived this way, I find that things always tend to work themselves out for me. I guess you could chalk that up to good karma, if you believe in that sort of thing.
Human behavior has always fascinated me, I tend to observe everyone and everything in an effort to learn more about humanity. The best place to get to know people is in the wilderness. I've made many friends around a campfire. People tend to let go, and be themselves around a campfire. Beyond that, people tend to ponder the mysteries of their life, such as the nature of the universe, the existence of aliens, ghosts, and a variety of things that are typically brought up in everyday conversation.
I worked for the US government and the Government of Paraguay as a geodesist. After that I got in to land survey, civil engineering and construction for a while. After the economic crash. I had to turn my computer science hobby into a career. I am now web developer and computer programmer. I feel fortunate to have been born in this era of amazing technology, but my heart resides in the past. If I could build a time machine there's two places I would go right away. I would go back to a time before written history, or back to the 80s. Either one will suffice.

Meet someone special from United States. Hi! I'm new to the online dating thing, but after seeing some of my friends make some great connections, I thought I'd give this a shot! I'm a professional guy who is passionate about travel, friends, and new experiences. I tried SCUBA diving a few years ago, and am hooked! Although work takes me to some amazing places, I would love to travel with someone who shares a similar desire for adventure and travel. When I'm not travelling, I enjoy going out - whether its outdoorsy, a movie, or dinner and some witty conversation. I enjoy beer and wine tasting, and absolutely appreciate what Fort Collins has to offer with all its breweries! And, sometimes, switching it up with a grilled steak and a glass of wine at home really hits the spot.
I'm looking for someone who is independent, has a sense of adventure, and is willing to try new things. Make sure your passport is updated! :) Wit and humor are a huge plus, but nothing beats an amazing sense of chemistry. We can make up the rest as we go along :)

Date a man from United States. Looking for someone to spend time with, to laugh, to cook or go out to dinner; to sit at a game or theater, to experience new things together, to smile at, to flirt with... Hooping that someone can bring out my silly side at the same time she can understand and respect my serious side. I'm not jealous so, I'll give you your space, and trust you will do the same for me.
I find myself attracted to confident women who have their own interests and own life, but have gotten to a place where they want or are willing to share their experiences; a woman who is equally comfortable hanging out on the patio as she is at ease in a dress; someone who wants to spend weekends away, or go for the occasional night out.

I hope to find a girl that is secure with herself and has some self esteem. I like to be more on the organized and clean side of things, good hygein is important. I Don't want a drunk or hard core drug user or a nut for a girl. Sorry planters, I will buy an almond joy if I want nuts! Lol
