I went to Heritage High School in Littleton, graduated from Colorado State University and got my J.D. at California Western School of Law in San Diego. I own a title insurance company, manage some rental properties I own and am trying to become a part-time antique and art dealer.
I enjoy exploring the restaurant scene in Denver, going to auctions and estate sales and watching independent and foreign films. In fact, the highlight of my year is annually attending the Telluride Film Festival.
I love to travel and try to take at least two weeks off per year to explore different parts of the world. Last year, I went to England, Ireland, Norway and Mexico and this year I'm going to be spending 10 days traveling around the French-speaking parts of Canada. I'm presently trying to find a way to merge my travel passion with my antique and art business. For me, this would be the ultimate dream job.

I love children. I have (don't run away yet) 8 children from a 22 year marriage. Unfortunately people grow apart or forget what family is all about. 3 of my kids are grown and the 5 younger are 500 miles away with their mother at their grandparents home. I see them when I can, usually 4-5 times a year. They are great kids and I wouldn't trade them for the world. If you have children I will gladly help raise them. I don't expect to take their dad's place as I wouldn't want to be replaced with mine; however, I fully support my mate in dealing with her children.
I love to laugh and make people laugh, I am usually quick witted and try to make light of any situation, especially those that are "serious". My role model growing up was Hawkeye on the TV show MASH. He dealt with the every day stress of life and war with sarcasm and wit. Some people will role their eyes and look down their noses at me and my responses but its much better that freaking out and looking for the tower. Some of you may get that reference. I am pretty set in my ways but I can easily adjust if its the Lord's will.
