On my last vacation, my co-workers saran-wrapped my entire office and everything in it. I'm currently planning to decorate my boss' office in Hooters' gear (she's not a fan). Yes, I'm a pretty entertaining guy, and I'll walk a mile for a good laugh.
I'm also intelligent, honest, and hard-working. I have a great job and I’m generally successful at the things I do (although currently I’m lousy at basketball). I’m good with children and pets (I volunteered and taught dog training classes at the Dumb Friends League for years) and can arrange to have almost anything built or repaired. Every day, I try to enjoy the sweet little moments that happen all the time -- like feeling the sun on my face on a beautiful day, the smell of the first big thunderstorm, making someone laugh, or sharing a spontaneous kiss.
I love to travel and want to see the world. I'm fortunate to have enjoyed a lot of great places, including recently Costa Rica, Scotland, Italy, and Belgium. I also enjoy road trips and camping in hotel rooms. A drive through the mountains in summer is hard to beat.
I enjoy sports. I play basketball and soccer and I'm a big Avs and Rockies fan. I hike and I want to try snowshoeing this year. I studied martial arts for many years, and I'm considering returning to that. In the summer, I run (not very far) and bike.
I love books. I'm a writer--I just finished writing my first novel. I’m currently working on the second (and re-writing/editing the first).
I enjoy eating out and I like to try new places. I prefer a great dive over a fancy place, but I still appreciate a nice restaurant with great food and service. I love having a great conversation over a meal, or on a walk, or after an interesting movie (I like well-written movies, for obvious reasons).
