I've been on and off match.com for a few years now without much success. I believe my failure at online dating can be attributed to my apprehension about meeting someone based on a profile and photos that may or may not be an accurate depiction. I still believe in the old fashioned way of meeting someone - through a friend, work, luck, or fate. However, since I don't have any friends in CO yet and I work out of state often, my only option is to rely on luck or fate via match.com.
Although I'm hoping to meet new friends in CO, I am not definitely not a serial dater and, like most of us on here, I'm ultimately searching for that special "match." If I happen to send you a wink or email, please know that I've taken careful consideration about contacting you before doing so. I don't send out mass "form letter" emails or winks to everyone who has wonderful photos of the CO mountains, pets, or striking poses. I have had a great life in OK and expect the same in CO so I'm not willing to let just anyone into my life. I'm emotionally and financially secure. I have a great job that pays extremely well and, more importantly, allows me to make a difference in this world. I am coming to CO without family, friends, or baggage (other than my personal belongings) so I'm essentially starting a new life...and I'm looking for someone special to share it with.

More about me: I work for a private foundation based in Seattle, WA. My office is in downtown Denver. My job requires travel about 40-50% of the time. I enjoy Oklahoma University sports, OKC Thunder basketball, and weekend getaways so I'm also looking for a partner for trips to Norman, OKC, and beyond (which now will include the great state of CO). My friends would say that I am very compassionate, kind towards others and have a quirky sense of humor. They enjoy my unique perspective.
