As for specific qualities, I'd like to find a woman who is as comfortable sitting around a campfire as she is getting dressed to the hilt to attend a broadway musical or a business dinner. Someone who enjoys the peace of an early morning cup of coffee as well as a raucous late night when friends are in town. A girl that enjoys music, intelligent conversation, sporting events (every now and again), and silence. It would be great to find someone who enjoys skiing as much as I, but basically, I'd like to find a girl that can find enjoyment everywhere.
I guess I should throw in a couple 'heads up': I really do enjoy my job and though I wouldn't say I'm a full-on workaholic, I am ambitious and like to put in my time performing well; I am individuallistically-minded and believe things like happiness are entirely up to the individual; and I have two beautiful girls who will always be a big part of my life.

I had a long talk with an old friend the other night about our political views. It was a discussion, not an argument. I identify with the democratic party on some things, middle of the road on others. I like to hear about ancestry. I am Irish German. I have been known to commit random acts of a romantic variety.

I have a movie collection. It is made up of guy flicks interspersed with chick-flicks. I have had little time in which to watch my collection recently, but I'd love to try with someone to snuggle with.
A note on that: I am a very tactile person. I like public displays of affection. I like holding hands while walking. I like snuggling up on my dark chocolate colored couch to watch a movie. Though I have had little practice with the couch, I'd love to get more in. I like working the kinks out of your back after a hard day's work. If I don't know the answer, I won't lie to you. I will tell you I don't know. I tell stories sometimes. I have been described as long-winded, with reason. I like to be detailed.
Personal stuff:
I don't get cheaters. I have been cheated on before. Something about having her meals cooked for her, her back massaged whenever she wanted, and an open ear for her problems drove her to the arms of a guy who treated her like crap before dumping her for the next conquest. If you want someone who treats you like crap, keep going. If you want someone to walk all over, keep going.

I enjoy most of the staple CO things snowboarding, camping/hiking and playing hockey.
