Date men from United States / Colorado / Denver, 34 year old - page 4

Date someone special from Colorado, United States. I'm the type of guy that may get bad rap and sometimes gets bad guy label. In the end a label is just that and doesn't really describe true person unless you dig skin deep. I try not to judge by a person by there words and rely more on a persons actions.
I've been known to be uptight when it comes to acting a fool at same time I've been called reckless for not showing enough restrand. I'm curently looking for even balance to fun and excitement/rest and relaxation. Somehow there's not enough time to explore all the worlds treasures and i'd like to say at least I've tried my hardest to enjoy everyday.
Work hard and play hard. I think same goes for love. You get what you give. I believe in the golden rule and I'm into showing real consideration towards others. I'm looking for someone to bring the best out of and have them bring best out of me. I love how two people in love can become what great romance movies are made of. They say chivalry is gone for good but I believe some menke rest look bad. to be great to women and visa versa. I'm looking for my yin to my yang.

Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. You know how sometimes life is great but you still want to add or change something? Yeah. That's how I feel right now. I don't mind being single, but I'd really like to share it all with someone. I recently got a really awesome job, but I work a lot. I'll get the hang of it soon, but for now, I'm pretty busy. I prefer to have a few close friends rather than a bunch of people I know. I accidentally say stupid things all the time. Not on purpose, though. Well, that's not entirely true. Sometimes I say them on purpose. I really try hard not to take life too seriously, but sometimes I forget. I've just recently started hitting the gym again. I brew beer. I'm not awesome at it yet, but I really love doing it. :)
My perfect date would be kind of geeky. Maybe a science or finance or accounting or librarian type. Of course, that's just a guideline. She'd love dogs more than cats, conversation more than dancing, TV more than movies, the Broncos more than the Raiders, and she'd have more hair than me. I'm a bit shy, so you'll have to be kinda shy too. Someone who's pretty comfortable in life but is still searching for something. A bit of a lost soul, I guess. Just a bit though. Some sort of ambition is key.
And c'mon. If I take the time to write you an email, at least have the decency to write back or say you're not interested.

Date single man from Colorado, United States. About me, rapid-fire style.
I have a son. He is awesome.
I am really, really funny. I am brutally honest, usually to a fault. No lying, ever. I am probably more ethical than most people. I am open-minded and very laid back. When I need to lead, I lead. I have goals and I accomplish them. I know what I want and I know how to get it.
I have a BS in Software Engineering. I am thinking about getting an MBA. I am very spiritual. I am very active. I love kids (duh..).
I like swimming. I like going to movies. I like hiking mountains. I like eating at restaurants, especially sushi. I like going downtown on weekends. I like staying at home and reading books. I like muscle cars and guns. I like dressing nice and going out for a glass of wine. I like going to loud concerts. I like meditating.
I enjoy life.
Who am I looking for?
Must love kids (duh..). Must be honest. No lying, ever. If I look fat in those jeans, tell me I look fat in those jeans. I won't.. but if I did, tell me. These two are very important to me.
A positive attitude is important -- I choose to surround myself with people that have positive attitudes. A sense of humor is also incredibly attractive. A willingness to try new things, even if they seem scary.
Down to earth, stable, hopefully attracted to me as well. :)
Other than that, I'm pretty open-minded.

Meet a man from Colorado, United States. If I repeat what I have said in other sections, my bad.
Im very laid back, always a gentleman and believe there is so much to be done with this life. Definitely an optimist, glass half full kind of guy. I often have a Chandelor Bing attitude towards everyday life. At times the best way I relate to things is through comedy or sarcasm.
I love being outside and active, although after a rough week I am a fan of taking the day off and catching up with the DVR or reading.
I am looking for a woman who is passionate about life and wants to soak up every minute of it. A woman who makes me want to be a better man.
I believe two people should be strong on their own but compliment each other when together. I'm a student of the old school in that I believe in true love and in all the sentimental things some people have lost sight of because they just settle.

Date someone special from Denver, United States. I'm from San Diego and have been living in denver for about sexen years now.I was in the Navy out of high school and drifted around for awhile. I started working at starbucks and became an asm and did that for a few years. I left that and managed a vitamin shoppe in san diego. I transferred with them to denver. I decided that i wanted to go back to school so I took a part time position at a local coffee shop. I have finished a couple of years of classes and taken a manager position at a uptown location. I love to snowboard, ride my bike everywhere, and I'm learning to play the guitar. I LOVE music and fitness. I am currently turning over a new leaf in life and am trying to see whats out there. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Thanks and good luck

Meet a soulmate from Denver, United States. I try to live a balanced active life. Being idle and stagnant don't do so well for me or anyone else in my life. My family, reading, exercise, art, and work are important to me.
I have been told I am humbly sophisticated, cultured, kind and charismatic human. A non-conformist by nature, I value and appreciate my family, humor, education, humility, geology, love, art, records, insects, terroir, food, Lynch, history, photography, libraries, Pekar, responsibility, viticulture, animals, Joy Division, history, film, fashion, water, primatology, compassion, live music, Jorodiski, literature, agriculture, integrity, Jarmusch, space travel and other galaxies.... I prefer a woman who is at least appreciates some of the same. One who is confident, artistic, versatile, educated, elegant and a bit rough at the same time. A gal who is in touch with her mind, body and spirit is something I admire. Thanks for reading.

Date single man from Denver, United States. I love to travel and experience new places, it is who I am. After many years of searching, and building up one odd resume, I've found an unusual employer that embraces these skills and pays me to travel. It would be great to find someone that enjoys traveling as much as I do and is able to travel as well, be it road-tripping or jet-setting somewhere.
So I figure I should rewrite this to be more positive sounding, but seriously how many people can truly say their lives’ are overwhelmingly positive? We’re all human, full of accomplishments, riddled with failures, and the best we can all hope for is that we learn from both the good and the bad, and ultimately come out on the other side with a better understanding of ourselves; what promotes our happiness and what steers us away from pitfalls. In this sense, I’m well aware of who I was, what has made me what I am today, and hopefully a person continually evolving towards being a better human into the future. In my eyes, I am what I am, and positively optimistic that the course I pursue will ultimately be the right one for me. Who could wish for anything more?
I can’t speak or talk in soundbytes or belt out a list of words to describe myself, and often flub the simplest conversations, as there’s more behind what I’m thinking than black or white, yes or no, it is or it isn’t. It’s a huge impediment to meeting new people, and silence by choice instead of meaningless conversation, often portrays the wrong impression; I’m either stuck-up, an a$$hole, or both. Yet, as is often the case, once the ice is cracked, I’m the friend for life always, even across the distances, sharing in the happiness of those I care about, and offering words of encouragement during their times in need.
I’ve been married, and it didn’t work out. Who hasn’t rushed into a relationship when everything seemed so right, only to find out later things were so wrong and it might not just be about that person but the situation and outside factors as well? I’ve done my penitence, sunk myself into the deepest recesses of my life, and eventually came out with a much better understanding of myself and an unmatched determination to never go there again. It’s now my past and if I care to share parts of it with you, thank you but it’s not for you to judge me, I’ve already done that.
I’m a gypsy, four walls and a roof over my head, although it can be nice, often feels more a prison than a sanctuary. I’ll gladly opt for a life less certain, less defined, not knowing where I will sleep that night versus one with the “I”s are dotted and the “t”s crossed if that means all I want to do is forget about everything and not be bothered by anything. Submission of the miracle that is our brains, is death of living as far as I’m concerned, although I’ve wished Lacuna Corp. was a real possibility from time to time. :D
So here are a few tidbits about me; I’ve lived in NY, OR, CA(2x), CO (2x) and WA if you consider 5 days living somewhere having moved everything; I had my own business where money actually grew on trees; 4 or 5 of my cat lives are waiting for me wherever they wait; My dream job is to be an RN working ER/ICU/CCU; I have a 1 in 2 billion job, my 2 coworkers have the other 2; I’m not one to plan, I’d rather just buy the tickets and go, sort it when I get there; I’ve racked up ~200k miles flying in the past year and a half; The scariest thing I’ve ever done is jumping off a 700ft bridge in S. Africa; And I would love to join MSF (Doctors without Borders).
Hopefully some of these will describe you; Know the difference between Packman and Space Invaders; Were raised overseas or had the good fortune to live there; Are medically or bio/chem oriented; Simple but complex at the same time; Could teach me different languages; Always fascinated to learn something new; Sporty/active but not obsessed; Are full of surprises. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Meet a man from Denver, United States. About me...I enjoy spending my free time with friends and family, and being active. Mountain biking is one of my favorites. I do a few mountain bike races here and there. Over the past couple of years, I've really taken to Crossfit. I enjoy my nights out on the town or staying in and something like cooking dinner over a bottle of wine and enjoying a good flick. My friends will tell you that I'm generally up for anything. They'd tell you that I rarely get angry and am pretty chill overall. I've been told that I'm very well rounded...not sure exactly how to interpret that.
I'm looking for a shared physical attraction. I'm looking for somebody that will enjoy my friends and family and visa versa. It's important to me to be with somebody that thinks of others and treats them well regardless of any differences. I'm also looking for somebody who is not just living for today, but is thinking about and planning for the future.
You'll find that as you get to know my friends, you'll hear many stories about me. Yes, some childish and slightly irresponsible, but I should remind you that they span many years and phases of my life and have never involved any felonies. Though, one did lead to the front page of a small town paper posting a reward for my brother's and my arrests. But, didn't really get in trouble, so you can't hold it against me. You can ask me about it. It's a pretty funny story.
Would love to hear from you!

Date someone special from United States. Are you totally awesome?
I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh and vice versa. Someone who can share a glass of amazing wine or champagne with me on a patio over amazing loose yourself in the time conversation. One of those nights you don't want to end.
I want someone who can bring it. All the time. In return, we will engage in high society awesomeness and debauchery.
A little about me: Extremely outgoing, socially active, postitive, movie and trivia freak, have everything I want in life already but can always use a little more, would kill for sushi, and am a general kid at heart. I believe in immeadiate connections. It's there or it isnt. For me, I know right away if we are a match. It doesn't take several meet ups to try and build a bridge. I believe in keeping things casual for as long as possible until you know it is time to take the next step.
You: Attractive, positive, UNIQUE, and most importantly likes to have fun!

Meet a soulmate from United States. i,m a cool,. all around kind a guy. i could be sensitive but tough at the same time. i hoping to attract the same kind. i only like to talk to people i'm close with. i'm looking for any kind of relationship at the moment, until something good blooms from the relationship.

Date single man from United States. I'm tired of the bar scene, and don't think that the woman that is right for me will be found there. That's why I'm trying this out. I held out for a long time, so here's hoping this works.
I am a hard-working, smart guy who can organize a party as well as discuss current events. I have a wide variety of interests (play drums and guitar, was once in a band, coached volleyball, kickball team, mentored high schoolers, organized a couple legendary Pub Golf crawls in grad school) . I moved to Colorado in 2000 with the Army, deployed to Iraq, and was very proud to serve. Then was a project manager for a homebuilder, then grad school. I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life until I worked in a job that I hated after grad school (wealth management) in a place I didn't like either (Dallas). I'm now in healthcare, running a dialysis clinic for DaVita. I love it, and feel right at home.
I want to find a woman who has ambition and drive, is intelligent, and has a witty personality that will make me laugh. I want her to be able to get sweaty with me hiking or biking or camping or skiing, and then be able to get dressed up for a night out. I'd love to have a lot in common, but think it's crucial for her to also have her things and her friends that are important in her life. And above all, if there's chemistry, the rest will work out.
Random facts about me. I...
- Grew up in California, and have been in CO for 10 out of the last 12 yrs, hoping to stay as long as possible.
- Love photography. Have a DSLR and learning more all the time
- Make friends easily and enjoy spending time with them.
- Enjoy road biking, doing the Copper Triangle this year. Which is gonna be painful!
- Believe family is extremely important and I wish I got to see them more.
- Am pretty tech savvy but I had to ask a friend what this whole hashtag thing meant.
- Play volleyball at least once a week
- Am not afraid to call in sick for a powder day.
- Have golf clubs and they are currently my nemesis.
- Think that even crappy bands sound awesome at Red Rocks. Which means the good bands are off the charts.
- Know far too many 80s and 90s songs for my own good.
- Am positive that there is nothing better than a night under the stars around a campfire with friends.
- Want to have a family and kids someday, and want that to be a goal of my future mate as well.

Meet a man from United States. OK here goes:
I’ve lived in several different countries in my youth due to my parents’ business. I speak 3 languages fluently and I am a dual citizen (German and US) so that allows for easy travel throughout Europe. I love Europe, wish I could visit more often but it’s hard finding time because I work full time, I am currently attending business grad. school and I recently bought a new house in the downtown area. I have recently learned how time consuming owning and maintaining a new house is. I have learned a lot of new things recently though (i.e. gardening, how to install ceiling fans, how to paint, how to “fix” things my dog has destroyed, basic electrical/plumbing, etc.). I still have many house projects planned though. I grew up in West LA, I went to grammar school and high school there. I then moved to Texas for undergrad, I stayed there for several years after college for work.
I couldn’t take the intense heat/humidity in the summer and the boring landscape anymore so I decided to drop everything, quit my job and I packed my stuff and we (my doggy and I) moved to Denver a few years ago because I always enjoyed visiting this city and I needed a change in my life. Texas got a little boring for me but I still enjoy going back to visit my good friends, float the Guadalupe River and go to a couple of college football games. I love college football! Plus the food out there is incredible, it’s actually probably a good thing for my waist line that I moved from there.
I love it here in Denver though. The main reasons I moved is because of the moderate weather, the mountain sports, the relaxed way of life and the people, Denver really has good people. Like I said, I LOVE the mountain sports, I am a huge snowboarder, I usually ride the 5 mountains. In the summer time I LOVE to go mountain biking, I love discovering new trails, it’s such a great exercise and a great rush. I have competed in several running races, mountain biking races, adventure races, etc. Those things can be pretty addictive. I also enjoy running, rafting, climbing 14ers, going off-roading, target shooting and discovering new trails and old mining towns and pretty much being outdoors. I also play on several team sports such as football, kickball and dodge ball. I try to stay pretty active and I have the scars to prove it! I’ve unfortunately visited the operating room several times in my day for some pretty crazy injuries that I’ve incurred.
I am a social cat though! I enjoy going out with friends, going to our usual bars or discovering new watering holes. That’s probably why I decided to move to downtown, so that I could bike/taxi it all over the place and not have to worry about driving. I enjoy movies, reading books, attending concerts, attending festivals (I’m a regular at all the beer festivals), discovering new towns, trying out new bbq recipes, going up to the mountains for the weekend, trying out new things, traveling, etc. I’m a pretty spontaneous cat, I’m not that much of a planner! I’ll try everything at least once or twice . . . except maybe sky diving, Chinese food and/or Indian food.
I also enjoy participating in charity and philanthropy events, especially ones pertaining to animals. I actually helped organize a fun pup crawl a few months ago and we were able to raise several thousand dollars which we donated to a local animal shelter/rescue group. I’ve also spearheaded several food drives for area animal shelters. I hope to get more involved in this type of work. I am very passionate about this part of my life.
So, that being said, I hope to meet someone on here that has similar interests or can maybe even broaden my horizons in some new activities. I really enjoy meeting new people so feel free to contact me if you want to meet up for a quick drink, bite, hike, run, bike ride or whatever. I’ve never posted a profile on a site like this so I am just curious to see what can happen . . .
