Backpacking, mountaineering, snowshoeing, skiing - I enjoy those, and they are many of the reasons I moved to Colorado, but equally important to me are interests not in the hills - a new restaurant, the symphony, chamber music, museums, reading a great book, great films. For vacation, I would rather carry a backpack and trek across a foreign land, than lug a suitcase to a resort. I'm currently locked in battle with my golf clubs, fall out of airplanes occasionally, planning my next trip (having trouble deciding where), and dusting off the snowshoes.
