I am pursuing my degree in forestry and about to find work in wild land fire fighting. I hope to find the woman that is comfortable with herself and can see the good things that hide in all people and places. She should be able to laugh at herself and me without being afraid. I recently left the Marines after an illustrious career of fighting wars for super rich politicians and corporations. We won I suppose. I engineered lasers and infrareds. Now I go to school and hopefully will finish my pre-med classes in the next 18 months and apply to be part of a physician assistant program. I have not failed yet so there is still a chance! I also am a emt volunteer and paid, not that emts get paid allot. A volunteer firefighter and also am going to be hired in the next year by a very good northern Colorado dept. I also coach football. Like I said I really like to help people and care. So well good ole Mr. Obama pays for my education I figured I would help out. Oh and if I fail at all that I also have a RN program lined up.
I like to smile and laugh. It is my favorite. I work out 5 times a week and eat mostly healthy. Horse tooth lake is very fun, but I have not done much hiking or camping although I am open to try it! Theatre is something that I recently began to admire and would like to see more of. I would like to race you in go-karts. I study a lot these days. Watch numerous movie channel series and like to get drinks ! I am very open to new activities just no high places it is my kryptonite.

Meet single man from Boulder, United States. Hmm, let's see, I was born in Berlin and lived in Saudi Arabia as a kid. I earned my graduate degree in Boulder but am not one of the Boulder crazy people. I've lived overseas a fair amount and love to travel, especially on scuba diving trips. I'm laid back and down-to-earth, but my friends joke that I'm a closet type A personality because I can be pretty competitive sometimes (don't worry, I'm not a sore loser). I'm genuine, open, and honest and can laugh at myself. I've been told that I'm a real smart ass, but that I'm not mean about it. There are such things as stupid questions...I should know, I've asked plenty of them. ; )
I enjoy the physical side of life but am not some dumbass meathead, but I'm also not a total bookworm. I like working out, hiking/backpacking/camping, scuba diving, cycling and skiing just as much as I like cooking, funny/interesting conversations, reading and going to shows. I'm not into the club scene, but it's cool if you are. I prefer goretex and t-shirt and jeans but clean up well when it's needed, promise. I guess I'm a jack-of-all-trades and am interested in a lot of different things, which may not help narrow things down, but it's the truth. Ultimately, I strive to be better tomorrow than I am today and am always trying to learn something new.
How about you? If you enjoy using your brain and either work out regularly, cycle, ski, or scuba dive (or are at least willing to learn), then you're off to a good start. If you're into all of it, then you're getting crazy bonus points. If you're a "backcountry" girl (winter/summer), I'd probably lose my mind. : ) If, in addition to the above, you enjoy traveling and seeing/learning new things, then you're on your way to full badass status. If you can tell me where Bretagne is, then you'll get even more bonus points! Last, but definitely not least, if you can spit some sarcastic wit, then you're all good in my book.
However, if you're not confident, independent, and nice, then we're not off to a good start. Likewise, if you're not open-minded and curious about life, then things aren't lookin' so hot. Oh, one last thing, I am "spiritual but not religious," so while I respect all faiths, if you're looking for a guy to go to church with you, that's not me.
