Meet a boy from Santee, United States. I'm pretty cynical, but I don't make excuses for everything. I work full time and take care of myself. I live on my own now and that's been really cool. Though sometimes life can feel really dull, like I'm just standing still.
I write songs and sing. I'm not a really great singer in any traditional sense, but I keep it together. I don't know many famous songs since I like to write my own. I play shows now and then. I like singing my songs for people.
I'm not religious, and I really don't want kids. Again, I'm cynical, I just don't see much point for either of those things.
I'm kinda into just living life, you know, going to work, coming home, grabbing a smoke, chilling out, paying bills, etc. A lot of people on here write about doing all sorts of stuff; Biking, fishing, mountain climbing. But how often do you really do that kinda thing?
I like being laid back.
I was really really poor growing up, so I know what money is worth. My dad sucked and my mother just seemed clueless, so everything I know and understand comes from self reflection. I don't trust most of the world around me. To be honest, half the time, life seems like some kind of a joke.
But that's probably why I'm always laughing.
I'm a pretty positive person who doesn't like worrying about things. I know that things can always be worse.
I was with someone for about six years, and it was really up and down. Kinda figured out soon in that it was just wasn't that good. I think we really loved each other at some point, but somewhere along the line we kinda just started using each other. The good thing is now we've both moved on.
That being said, I am in no big hurry at all to "be in love" with someone anytime soon. This does not mean I'm cold and uncaring. I'm a very warm and intimate person. I'm just not ready to be tied down. I have my own life and you have your own life. Let's take things a step at a time. Let's do whatever we want to do, but give space to one another.
I don't drink much at all, but I like to smoke. I might quit one day when life is a little less stressful.
I'm not looking for someone with kids, I'm sorry. I don't hate kids, I just don't want one in my life. Ah, another snag is that I work overnight. I make a decent living doing so and actually I like the hours.
As for relationships, in some ways I think an opposite work schedule could be a good thing. If you see someone day after day in a routine sort of way I think things can go stale very quickly. Some time apart makes the time together more meaningful and special, because I've been waiting to see you. -_-
I've got 7 tattoos, and would like to get more. Just nothing on my hands, neck, or face. None of my tattoos have some kind of deep meaning attached to them. I just really like art.
I'm not some big movie person, I like movies but I don't really see many new movies, and I don't really know any names of directors or care about any of that.
