Date someone special from California, United States. Right up front, I would like to point out that I am a smoker (I know, UGH!). I may or may not quit in the future; but, being nagged about it will NOT force me to quit. I really don't feel I am stubborn; but, I do have a mind of my own. Also, I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest (having moved to CA in 1983 - for the weather) so I feel I am very "down to earth" and do not like "phony" people. I accept others for who they are, not for who they think they would like to be... I would like the same courtesy from others. I am no Einstein; but, I feel I am relatively intelligent - I can usually keep up my end of the conversation. I am not fond of housework; BUT, I hate a messy house more, so I do what I have to... I am a "plain Jane" cook...
