I was a hippie in the 1960s. I traded my my fun-filled hippie life for hot water, indoor plumbing, AND
a successful career.
I am copacetic with every social group and well liked in some of the more interesting ones.
My clothing is always appropriate and my teeth are original.
Friends constantly comment on my literary leanings, and occasionally remind me of my poem,
printed in the New Yorker ages ago.
I enjoy walking in the morning and sitting on my deck in the trees in the afternoon, reading a book
and/or talking.
Around 5PM I brew a martini, if no one is around who likes to cook, I check the freezer for
a frozen pizza or a steak. I don't enjoy cooking.
I am charming yet modest, self-supporting but not wealthy, pretty even in the morning light
(I guess you have to decide that one for yourself).
