Date people from United States. alright I confess, I belong to 24 Hr. Fitness but they haven't seen me for awhile. They will see me soon other wise I would not be looking for a special friend. Also I am not hiding at karaoke bars, I am perfoming in public again. So who's perfect, certainly not me. What I am is somewhat intelligent, funny, faithful, caring, A GOOD TALKER AS WELL AS A GOOD LISTENER, romantic, supportive and adventuresome, honest, honorable, of good character. This is also what I would like in a special friend.
Meet a woman from United States. I am fairly recently widowed after a happy 35 year marriage. I'm telling you this as background only, because I want anyone who might be interested in becoming my friend - or possibly more - to know that I am looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of life and living it to it's fullest. We all know that life is full of joy and adversities, and I believe we are made stronger by both. I know that I am more than ready to start exploring what my future might hold in store for me. Of course, my friends and family all tell me I look and think younger than my chronological age. They aaaallll say that, right? One thing I can guarantee is that I'm a long way from becoming the old granny in the rocking chair. There's just so much to do yet - too much fun to have!
I have a great family, and love spending as much time with them as I can. They're kind of scattered all over the country at the moment. I have 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren and one 2 year old greatgrandaughter. I met her for the first time last summer. Her daddy, my grandson, is active military and was stationed in Germany when she was born. They're at Fort Hood in Texas at the present time.
There are so many delightful things to do and places to go, but most of them are much more fun when done with someone special. I would love to get to know a nice man with whom I could share interests and values, and then let nature take it's course. I think my perfect match would be someone who is or has been in business - retired would be fine - with a good sense of humor as well as a sense of adventure. Just a guideline, not etched in stone. I would very much like to get acquainted with another person who could become my "best friend" and more.
