Date men and women from California, United States. I’m a mostly happy 72-year-old man looking for a mate. I like people, I like problem solving, building and inventing. I am part photographer, part inventor part model builder. I like to cook, build and fly model airplanes (not at the same time). I’m an OK sailor. I like being with friends and family. I feel that at the core of being human is a deep need for connectedness, love and intimacy. I dislike loud music (rap, hip-hop) and loud people. I don't like eggplant much and I can only take cilantro in very small amounts. I think it's a lot more fun to cook and eat with someone I like than alone. This is also true of many other things. My virtues are that I’ve made it this far so I must be doing something right. I look for the good in people. I'm a warm and loving kind hearted, nice guy. I have close and supportive, loving friends. I say things the way I see them, I'm loyal and sometimes funny. I'm a pretty good cook. I know how things work and can fix a lot of them if they break. I'm a good designer, builder, photographer, model maker and auto/motorcycle mechanic. I’m willing to make mistakes. I know what I'm not good at. (I usually don't describe myself so this sort of sounds like I'm on a big ego trip. I'm not). I am looking for a woman who can make deep commitments. I am looking for someone who is happy and content, someone who wants to be in a long-term relationship and share her life with me. Someone who is creative, charming, smart, sensuous and self-sufficient. Someone that has the magic that attracts me. Traits that I like are openness, laughing, smiling, being real, being happy and liking your self. Being creative. Seeing the glass half full. Being feminine. Being ways that I have not yet imagined.
