Meet someone special from Arkansas, United States. I am a retired schoolteacher, who has always been interested in interior design. So now that I have the chance, I’m going back to college to get a degree in interior design. You’re only as “old as you feel” and since my family accuses me of being a “perpetual student” (I have three undergraduate degrees & two masters) why not.
What I’m now going to tell you about myself may sound like a contradiction. That is; I’m basically a “shy person, but at the same time I’m very outgoing. Yes, I know that sounds crazy, but if you get to know me you will learn what I mean.
I am religious, as well as being very patriotic. I believe in God & he is a very important part of my life. I couldnРІР‚в„ўt even be just friends with someone, who couldnРІР‚в„ўt accept God in his life. Even though our country, today, isnРІР‚в„ўt exactly what our Founding Fathers had in mind, I still believe it is the greatest country on earth.
Being raised in a large Scotch-Irish extended family, Family means everything to me. My son, daughter, & grandchildren are the apple of my eye. I am, also, a very affectionate person; blame it on all the hugs & kisses I got from loving family members. I’ve been called a “touchy” person, whether it be patting you or just giving you a hug. If you don’t have an affectionate side, we wouldn’t get along.
I am looking for a man with a strong character, who yet at the same time can be gentle, caring, & affectionate. I am looking for a man who has integrity, honesty, & is genuine. I am looking for someone who can appreciate me, for who I am. He needs to be to make me feel special, just as I would him. He needs to be a practicing Christian, not just by words but by actions. I like all types of outdoor activities; hiking, camping, boating & canoeing, working in my yard & garden. One of my favorite things to do is to take a quite walk, along a secluded country road, in the spring when everything is fresh and in bloom, or in the fall when the world is ablaze with color. I’m an avid reader & have been so all my life. One of my undergraduate majors was history, so I love books with historic significance. I enjoy going out to eat at a good restaurant, like to dance, & enjoy a good movie. I, also, like to go "flea marketing." In general, I just like having “fun.”
