Meet a woman from United States. I grew up on the east coast on the south shore of Long Island, N.Y. Thought I wanted to be a teacher or nurse but didn't do either. Bought my first car - a '64 Ford Galaxy 500 convertible with a V8 engine. How I loved that car! My new
found employment was the beginning of a very successful 40 year career which brought me to Arizona in 1986. I met my husband and was married for not quite 25 years (now a widow) Have 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters and a grandson. Love spoiling the grandchildren who bring so much joy to your life. I love Arizona. While driving around town, I am in awe of the majesty of the mountains, plant life, sunsets, rain storms, wildlife and the warmth of the people you meet. The beauty around me brings a smile to my face and a feeling of contentment knowing I live in such a wondrous place. Although I miss friends and family back east, I could never move back. However, there is no other city like New York. There's so much to do, see and experience all in one place. I've traveled domestically and internationally for business and pleasure. I am now retired and ready for my next journey in life.
