Having been out here for 11 years now, my life has been a roller coaster ride, but who's isn't? So there's been ups and downs, but what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, smarter, and a better person in general (as cliche as it sounds, its true). I'm always trying to better myself as a person and have new experiences to figure out what I really want out of this crazy thing we call LIFE. And hey, meeting some new and interesting people along the way doesn't hurt! I figure that the more I experience, the better chances I have of finding something and someone great! I'm an independent, trustworthy, and caring fella with a positive attitude and optimistic views on pretty much everything. I always follow my gut instinct and do what makes me happy. I like to stay in shape by doing something active 2-3X/wk...mostly by mountain biking and hiking. I'm a person who can get along with anyone who has a good attitude on life and who makes the best of everything. I have to surround myself with like-minded people that can hold a good conversation. Being kind of a goofball and having a good sense of humor, I also like to be around people who are pretty chill and not serious ALL the time. Relax, and have some fun! My career path has been an interesting journey in itself...worked a few years in the corporate world (in both architecture and food service), started a residential design business and some others, bought some property, learned a lot about myself and what life is all about and still learning. I definitely haven't got it ALL figured out, but I go about it the best way I know how (which is constantly improving). I enjoy working hard and playing harder.
When I'm not working, I try and get out of the Valley as much as possible. Especially in the summer! From adventuring and camping up in Northern AZ to road trips to the beach cities in Cali I'm down for anything! I have a passion for outdoor activities...mountain biking, hiking, swimming, soccer and heading to the high country for snowboarding in the winter. I also enjoy socializing with friends over happy hour sushi and sake bombs or bbq'in at the pool. Oh, and concerts! I'm a HUGE fan of live music! Whenever bands I like are in town, I do my best to get to the show! I listen to all kinds of genres depending on what I'm feelin' at the time. And since I play african and latin hand drums (bongos, congas, etc.) I also love to play music/jam with friends whenever possible. In addition, I love to travel and need to do more of it! I've been to parts of Europe in the past and look forward to going back sometime sooner than later. Oh, and I've been told that I have some damn good skills in the cooking department, especially when there's a grill involved!
Who I'm looking for... To me, the key to a lasting relationship is a solid foundation of open communication and trust. Attraction and excitement are some others. Sharing new experiences always keeps it interesting. I like women that are REAL, adventurous, like to dance, like to keep in shape, and has a great time and/or makes the best of doing anything! Also, if you like to get out and go hiking, biking, camping, and have a few beers once in a while, that would be an added bonus!
