I'm the type of person who gets restless easily so I pick up new things all the time. I recently ran a marathon and am teaching myself guitar. I love conversations on a variety of topics, politics, religion, etc. I read a lot...and now that I'm 30, I've given up picture books and books with less than a hundred pages. I'm very active...love playing sports and hiking...and pretty much anything that's competitive. I like Pizza and chocolate, but not together. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss two weeks before I go to the Dentist, so they think I've been doing it the whole time. I hate tomatoes. My favorite number is B5 (the vending machine # for Peanut M&Ms).I'm very family oriented and would love to have one of my own someday. I do hold myself to a high standard of values. I'm very loyal and committed, especially when in relationships. I go to church every Sunday. I love to laugh and try to make other people laugh (unsuccessfully of course). I'm very sarcastic and will voice my opinion so long as it's an educated one. I believe silent voices don't get heard. I don't like to play games. I watch Seinfeld and King of Queens reruns. I enjoy conversations about any topic and if I don't know what you're talking about, I'll smile and nod and pretend like I do! Just kidding, but I always like to learn new things, so I ask a lot of questions. I love life, and find excitement in everything I do, but I also have a serious side and am probably described as ambitious, determined, and hard-working more than anything. I'm never satisfied with mediocrity.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
I really believe that there is someone out there that I can spend the rest of my life with and I haven't yet found it.
I'm not on here looking for a fling or a short-term relationship. I don't do hit-it-and-quit. Heck I can't even date multiple women at the same time...too much to juggle. I think my friends would describe me as an eccentric, fearless, free spirit/thinker and a goofball. I would say that I'm the artist oddball type. I will make jokes about anything and love shock value. I have a code/value in my life where I try to have complete transparency in all my relationships/friendships. I will say anything to anybody. I love to make scenes in public and embarrassing people around me. The world is my stage. Humor is everything to me and without it, just put me down like an aging dog. I can be a bit on the nerdy side, besides loving cheesy SciFi and horror movies I also, love ecology and mycology. Mycology being the nerdiest because, I will bring you on mushroom hunts with me. It's like hiking only I'm tipping logs and sniffing shady spots the whole time. I'm a huge animal lover, I volunteered at a dog rescue in Clovis, NM for over 3 years. I also helped rehabilitate a horse and pony.
Is it just me or does this feel like filling out a “dating resume” ? Should I use bullet point?
What do I want in a Lady Friend/partner (hopefully more)? Open mindedness, it takes a special person to enjoy all my quirks. Transparency in the sense of not hiding anything from each other. She will need a sense of humor, a playful personality and not take life too seriously.

Sadly, I am not the most interesting man in the world. But I'm sure I'm the right fit for someone out there... I see myself as a confident, friendly, young guy who likes being around individuals with an intellect, personality, and sense of humor conducive to my own. I like surrounding myself with good company like friends and family as often as possible. I like going out to movies, water parks, beaches, concerts, dive bars, especially on karaoke night. Give me a few shots and I'll probably end up singing to you ;-) I also like staying in and being a homebody, watching TV shows/movies, playing board games, etc. I feel I'm finally at the point where I'm looking for someone to get serious with and maybe even settle down with. I like dating and taking it slow so I can get to know someone well enough to see if we click. So far I haven't seemed to have much luck meeting women whom I've felt a connection with while I'm out and about, so I figured I'd give this online stuff a shot.

I am a Project Manager / Mine Services Manager. I handle our mining division. I love my job, I get to play with big toys and build stuff. So I can't complain.
I have played sports my entire life. I played soccer from the time I was 5 through high school. I love it. I ran track and high jumped in college until I broke my ankle, that really sucked. Kind of ends most running for a while. But I have rehabbed and stay active playing basketball and running.
