I grew up near Buffalo NY got tired of the cold and snow and elected to travel west for college U of A in Tucson. I enjoyed my time in Tucson for 11 years starting my working career with IBM thus relocating to Phoenix AZ. After 17 total years with IBM I bought into a business based in Chicago and have been actively involved with this business for 17 years. I enjoy living in Arizona and traveling in the summer to San Diego to enjoy the beach and a break from the heat!!! I've recently developed my own philosophy: relationships are like hiking buddies - the hardest thing is to find someone that wants to, and can, go at the same speed as yourself. Not too fast, not too slow. Most of us here seem to have the same goal, but as we each take our own perspective on the journey, seem to be traveling at a wide variety of speeds to get there. That's one reason "friends first" makes the most sense to me - to find someone to take the journey with, rather than focusing too quickly on the "destination".
I'm an all-around stable individual, mentally, emotionally and financially. I’m intelligent, usually practical, and a pretty quick wit once I am comfortable, so hopefully you will appreciate that. I am not a chatterbox - I sometimes prefer listening - but outgoing with friends, and can keep up with any conversation. I am a fun person but not the super outgoing life of the party type.
