I just received my Bachelor's degree from ASU and have just been accepted into my graduate program where I will begin taking classes for Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Forensic Counseling. I enjoy studying the criminal justice field and would like to expand my knowledge of rehabilitative justice. I tend to be shy, but once I get to know someone I open up. I also enjoy all types of music except heavy metal. I enjoy traveling; although I have yet to venture anywhere outside of the U.S. I really enjoy being near a beach or the ocean so Cali is a favorite desination spot for me. I also enjoy visiting Northern AZ (Flagstaff, Payson, Greer). Top five places that I would like to visit would be: New York, Hawaii, Denmark, Germany, and France.
Other things I enjoy doing are reading(I am always trying to learn something new), playing the piano when I can find time(I am a bit rusty after not playing for a while but something about the sound of piano music gives me a sense of calm). I do enjoy some outdoor activities but I like to balance that time with time at home cuddled up watching some cheesy movie. I would love to find someone who enjoys hiking so I can go hiking with them. Havent been fishing in a long time but I do enjoy that as well as camping. I have never been river rafting so that is something I would be interested in trying sometime.
The best part about my current job is the chance to show other co-workers something they havent learned yet. Each day there is something different to offer, and having the opportunity to learn and grow gives me a sense of satisfaction and purpose. Meet people from United States. So there I was, minding my own business and all of a sudden I looked up - and it's freaking 2012. How the hell did I get here? Ha! My ten year reunion is next year and it certainly can put some things into perspective. I'm sure most of you can feel me on this if partying like it's 1999 feels like yesterday.
