I am relatively new to Arizona, but met some great friends while I have been out here. Meet a guy from United States. First up? I'm an Airman, through and through. I've been in the USAF for eight years, and loved (almost) every minute of it. Aside from traveling the world on someone else's dime, my job as an ejection seat mechanic is pretty fulfilling; I like working with my hands, and the challenge of running a maintenance area is self-rewarding when the shift ends on a good note. I've been stationed in Tucson, South Korea (twice), and Japan, along with a 167-day deployment to a support base in Qatar, not that I counted or anything.
Out of work, I love doing stuff outdoors, in the mountains or desert. Hiking and off-roading in my Jeep are two of my favorite pastimes, and I like to go camping when I get a chance. Shooting is also one of my favorite activities, I have a few guns that I take to the range or into the desert with some friends; I got my NRA Pistol Instructor certification earlier this year (it's a family thing), and I'd like to get into Varmint hunting when I have the chance . Low-key, I like watching TV and reading, and playing a little Xbox. I've also been told that I'm a pretty good cook, and I like trying out new recipes.
Aside from that? Well, my sense of humor is legendary; I've been chastised at work for political incorrectness and overt sarcasm, along with practical jokes (ask me about the saran wrap and golf balls, my boss was SO MAD). I can take a joke at my own expense (I take enough of them at work), and I hope whatever girl I meet has a sense of humor to rival mine. I was also raised to respect women, in an old school sort of way; I always pay the 1st date, hold open doors, etc. I was born in CT but I grew up in NY, currently rooting for the Yankees to take the Series this year.
