Date people from United States. I would like to meet someone who knows how to be content with life, little or alot.It would also be great if he had a degree of humor ,integrity and an appreciation for life and some form of faith.I would also hope if they have gone through a bad relationship that they have worked through all the regrets and are truly ready to move on. I'm not interested in fixing someone. I would like to see a degree of motivation in him to always be moving forward yet knowing we all go through setbacks in life and we just get back on track and pursue our dreams and goals.

Meet a soulmate from United States. I am from Germany and moved here 30 years ago. Still have my accent but most people find it quite entertaining. I was married for 21 years and am widowed. I have decided to look for a partner and soulmate on this website (my friends encouraged me to try this approach) and hope to find a partner who is as caring, romantic and loving as I am. I am very outgoing and fun, very active and interested in a variety of topics. Love to travel and want to see more of the world. Just would like to share these experiences with a loving and caring partner.

But am, also, practical and in charge in most situations. Level-headed?
I see myself on a never-ending journey where new things are to be learned and experienced.

I enjoy an occasional adventure and would like to find someone who is willing to try new things. I am very creative, and spend a lot of my free time working on small projects. Romance is important to me. I am looking for someone who is kind, caring, compassionate, and creative. I like to laugh and would like someone with a good sense of humor. Animals are my passion, and I could not live without my pets. I am easy going, secure in who I am, and would love to share my life with that special someone. Have always wanted to learn to dance, won't you join me?

Meet a woman from Peoria, United States. I need a sidekick besides my dogs ( the conversations are a little one-sided.)
I miss the little things that come with a relationship. As an independent woman, I am not looking for someone to take care of me, but rather someone who is interested in us taking care of each other.
I am looking for someone that doesn’t mind getting a little mud on their hands in the backyard on a Saturday, or hiking up the mountain just to enjoy the scenery on a perfect Arizona day. My ideal someone would have a sense of adventure, spontaneity, and the willingness to try new things. I am talking about a companion to explore some of those places that you read about in travel magazines and think “what a great trip that would be”. The right person would enjoy a quiet night in as much as a weekend road trip. I enjoy intelligent conversation and the type of person who is not afraid to talk politics, spar in a healthy debate of ideals, or watch a little Jon Stewart. It is important that you have a good heart and a good sense of humor because life is too short to be serious all the time. Everything is better in moderation, well almost everything.
Some things I know about me…..
1. My kids turned out OK despite the things I put them through (and vice-versa).
2. TV's The West Wing and Jon Stewart got me through the Bush years.
3. I feel more attuned to the desert because I donРІР‚в„ўt have grass in my yard.
4. I always have a witty and clever response, but usually 15 minutes later, preceded by I wished I said….’.
5. My favorite color is sunrise .
6. I should… hike the Grand Canyon.
7. I could, if I wanted to…get out and make a difference in the world.
8. Life after retirement… will make me want to get out of bed every morning.
9. My path not taken: location scout for the movie industry.
10. I love the sound of a French horn and The Blue Danube waltz.
11. When I visit some interesting place, I always measure it by the “I would like to live here” standard.
12. I think Arizona in the winter is great – I can have strawberries and pansies in my backyard pots when other places have 20 degrees below zero.
13. IРІР‚в„ўm going to come back as a bird. Not one of those sad sparrows huddled on the wires in the winter or black cow birds, wading through the grass. Something pretty with a happy, melodic song, like a gold finch or warbler.
14. My musical tastes range from Peter and Gordon to Katy Perry, from the Beatles to Willy Nelson, from Beethoven to the Gypsy Kings.
15. I've stopped trying to understand the conservative point of view and will not try to make them see the error of their logic. The same applies to motorcycle riders, sorry.
16. My favorite hike is in solitude, but not alone, rocky but pretty high, comfortable, but with some effort.
17. I sing, out loud, and dance in my living room. You be the judge.
18. ItРІР‚в„ўs probably lifeРІР‚в„ўs illusions I recall, I really donРІР‚в„ўt know life at all
19. I’ve often wished I had a tangible talent: to play music, to sing (besides to myself), to write…

Date someone special from Peoria, United States. this is a hard one for I have a very sick son who has been in the hospital for the pass 8 months and right now I am with him all the time ...when I am not with my son I am working , or just having a nice dinner

Meet men and women from Peoria, United States. Iam compassionate, loved being loved and pampered. I am a teacher by trade, so I tend to be a caretaker, but would loved to be taken care of. I love music, to dance, sing and laugh. I can be very stubborn and stand up for what I think is right. I love learning, traveling and seeing new things. People interest me, a people watcher. Keeping busy keeps me energized but can sit and cuddle watching movies for hours. I am very independent and yet would love to have someone to lean on. Humor is a must in my life. My children are the best and very independent but they all call frequently. LOVE sports and cars. Looking for an independent yet loving companion.

Date people from Arizona, United States. am a divorced mom with no mental baggage from the marriage. I have moved on and hopefully, continue to learn and grow. Have two kids who are 18 (almost 19) and just turned 11 with me most of the time. (Pics are in the profile) I am past the age of having kids but yours are very welcome. Love kids..love families and mix rather well except with racists and other sickos.:) Their dad has them about 5 days a month. I am a operating room nurse of many years. Like the autonomy, the speed, the thrill, the satisfaction of independence in my job. Like taking care of others when they can't care for themselves. Social, verbal, thoughtful, tad old fashioned (don't share men well at all), romantic, intelligent, introspective, athletic, love kids-horses-dogs-motorcycles-hiking,water etc. Like going out but like simple things and home nearly as well. I do not need to be entertained. If you can't or won't talk or look inside yourself and me, no need to write. Communication, honesty and integrity are paramount. My favorite quote "integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking." I try to live by that. I can't stress this enough..if you cheat, can't be honest, can't be trusted, can't be open and communicative about feelings, wishes, dreams, fears, what you want and expect in a relationship...don't write. I trust by nature but am being taught over and over that not all deserve this. I do not want to waste time finding out the hard way things that could have been avoided at step 1, here. I have been burned and look for signs:)And no, I do not hate all men nor do I think they are all like the ones I refer to. I am ever hopeful. Need/want someone capable of being emotionally and physically available, communicative, diverse, understanding of my children. I take care of all my own stuff...pool, yard, bills, house, kids. Not looking for that.....if you are a figament of your own imagination...pass on. You know if you are for real...I promise I will, eventually:)Romantic(like to feel a bit special in a relationship),thoughtful, communica tive, open minded, introspective, active, athletic, intelligent, nice looking(to me)but not overweight. As a rule, I have preferred tall but maturity has allowed me to look at the person and other qualities more:) No control freaks,no head games,no players,no serial daters or serial anything, able to handle children, available, honest to a fault-I absolutely hate deceit. A strong man, and I am not talking just muscle here although I love those... I mean you don't have to tell everyone you're a man-it shows in your carriage, your profession, your personal life, the way you are with a woman. I do not like being the "man" in the couple. I like a man that allows me to be a woman and he can cover the manly side of the equation. I need someone who can handle a fairly strong, independent, goal oriented woman who takes care of her own "stuff." I don't NEED a man, but I want only one good one to share in all I have to offer, which is plenty, I think. I can be alone and thrive but feel life is sweeter when shared. I have not put many physical descriptives here because I have learned that stunning does not equal qualities that last. In the end, so much depends on other aspects of a man. Experience has shown that few are either honest or good at self description anyway so it comes down to other qualities. As long as you are taller than me,your shoulders are still somewhat wider than your waist, not overweight (have not met anyone that could not lose 10-20) but that is my idea of fit:) Still comes down to more of what you are on the inside, the outside just needs to be in the ballpark:) Of course, there is that elusive chemistry thing....PS after being on here for sometime and thinking I grabbed the golden ring..I quit paying so at this time can't respond:) If you get no feedback, that is why. No rudeness meant. Am in a holding pattern right now:) Send another method of communication. Daw
