Meet someone special from United States. Here's what you should know about me: I love horses! Nothing is more exhilarating than the power of a horse climbing a hillside or embankment and experiencing a horse's " full-out" run! And there is nothing more sexy than a man in western wear all "saddled-up"!!! I grow my own sprouts (in a jar). I love those little green sprouts...something about eating something that is "alive" feels really healthy. I grow my own lettuce in the spring and fall. I grow flowers, mostly geraniums in this desert climate. I have gotten into growing cactus! You really have to be aware of where you are bending over! I love music. Music fills the air at my house. I still listen to the Beatles, Rollingstones, the Doors, Jesse Collin Young, James Taylor (right now, Crosby, Stills and Nash, the first album is in my car CD player). I really like Three Doors Down, and Bryan Adams.... Sting is amazing and I am convinced that Michael Jackson is a Master of the Universe ruling music and dancing (regardless of what you might think). Country favorites are Rascal Flatts for harmonies, Brad Paisley for guitar, Allison Krauss for vocals along with Wynonna (without her Mother) and Trisha Yearwood... and I won't leave out Martina McBride, Faith Hill and Bonnie Raitt and my all time favorite: Vince Gill, he can do it all! I REALLY like popular jazz. I have played guitar since I was 14. I am a songwriter and sang with the band Southern Comfort in the early 70's. We made a "record" and performed on TV once! I love really thick, soft, plaid flannel shirts.... they are so comfy! And I think that levis/jeans are the greatest clothing invention. I love to camp! Setting up camp with tents, coleman stoves and my famous "kitchen sink" campbox, is the best way to experience the "high country". Nothing beats climbing into a great tent with plenty of "bedding". I like comfort when I camp. I love the So. Oregon coast for walking and collecting rocks. I prefer to rent a great beachouse, with a roaring fireplace. Nothing worse that being wet and cold from the Oregon rain while camping ( been there, done that, not fun). I have traveled the West and Mexico in a 5th wheel, and loved every single stop.I am a rockhound and collect rocks everywhere I go. My yard is filled with the natural beauty of river rocks from the mighty CO River, right down the street. I love to swim. I am a great swimmer! Fresh water lakes are my favorite water..... after seeing "Jaws", I couldn't feel safe in the ocean again.... I am learning how to swim in the CO River. There are plenty of lagoons, and swimming against a gentle current is amazing..... no turns! The water temp here sure beats Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake. I practice the "healing arts" as a Cert. Massage Therapist. My beliefs center around me, my relationship to "who I really am" and that I am a working, functioning extension of Source/God. I keep it simiple... love one another, forgiveness, do unto others.... no judgments, we all make mistakes: learn from them and move on. I have Faith & Hope for this world to be a better place and that I contribute to that by doing "my part" (recycling, and holding "the light"). And, I like to remind others that the Universal Law of Attraction is always "ON"..... and to use the stream of "well-being" by offering no resistance to it (our thoughts)! My dog, Buckley, is my "best friend". He is ten years old this summer and he has witnessed just about everyday of my life for the past 10 years. You should know how much I LOVE HIM! My family, two sons here, David and Andy, and Keith, my first-born, "watches over us" and I am sure has a few good laughs.....
