I never feel lonely, but just tired of being alone so much. Meet a soulmate from United States. I hiked the Grand Canyon a few years back. Now mind you I am not a hiker, but I let a younger, friend talk me into the adventure. Anyway, we didn't just jump into this hike. No, we "trained" for several months prior. Training consisted of visits to the gym and doing the steps at London Bridge. We had a rather heated discusssion one day after a spinning class where I had taken a leisurely bike ride, much to my friend's disdain. I thought she was going to kick me off the team after that one, but I'm not really into torture of that sort. Anyway, in mid August (yes, it was really hot!) we made our trek into the depths of the Canyon and I thought I was going to die - literally! With the heat, the Grande Latte I drank on the drive down and the "natural energy pills" she gave me before we hit the trails my heart rate was around 180 about half-way down. When I was telling my son the story after we got back home, voicing my concerns that there would have been no way to get me out if I had a heart attack, he soothed by fears by saying they have provisions for such emergencies. I asked, "What would that be?" To which he replied, "Sniper!" Point being, despite the pain and fear I would do it all again, which pretty much describes who I am.
The man I dream of finding is one the we can be around each other without feeling judged. You can sit in your room working while I do a crossword puzzle and I'm entirely content. I have eyes only for you and you only have eyes for me and we communicate this verbally and physically and often. Fights are rare and when we do get into it, we don't stop talking until we've reached some sort of peace. Truth is, I'm just a nice girl (most of the time) who's looking for some fun and companionship.
