About me:
My friends would call me a good guy. I think I'm open, caring, honest, charming and giving it all my best whenever I can. I'm an Illustrator, writer, and retail manager in the Phoenix area. A movie-hound, romantic, Not your typical guy in some ways, but I dress well and stay cool… most of the time. ;) I do my day job to support the things I love (my house, getting out with friends, etc) and the work I love (my art, which I hope to do full time within the next few years). Having worked in music stores, my taste in music is pretty wide (love the old stuff from the blues, classical, jazz, soul, oldies and classic rock all the way to new rock, alternative, pop…). My passion for movies is much the same, from silent-era and classics to rom-coms, scifi/fantasy blockbusters, and quirky cool stuff. I speak quote, like the Family Guy child of the 80’s I am. I'm thinking they should put personals in Entertainment Weekly... All of this, and I still love the day trip, the good walk, the day at the game with a hot dog and a beer. Any of this sounding like Mr. Right, yet, �cause you and I have both had our hearts broken, and I think its time to get it right for the long haul.

I've been called weird and I've been called deep. I take both as compliments. I'm very independent and like my "me time". I like being around people who can teach me new things or offer perspectives that I may have never considered. I'm a thinker. My brain is always chewing on something. It could be physics, religion, philosophy, politics (eww), what's going on at work or what's for lunch. It would be great to have someone to discuss those things with. Especially lunch. I can be pretty blunt, but I'm also exceedingly honest. Sometimes I get dirty looks. If you ask me something, be prepared for an answer. Don't worry I do have tact. My sense of humor is a bit twisted. I like dry sarcasm and can be a bit facetious from time to time. I listen to a fairly wide variety of music. Rock, classical, electronic. Even some r&b and country makes its way in there once in a while. I don't watch much TV, but I do sit down to Netflix occasionally.
As for the girl...I'm not really sure what I want because I haven't met her yet. I need someone I can stand and who can stand me, but I guess that's gist of it all anyway. Isn't it? I definitely need a smart girl. Street smarts are accepted. Higher education is impressive. Common sense is required. I want someone who is a friend and more. I also need honesty and openness. I really don't think that's too much to ask. Is it?
