Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. 4000 characters is a lot of words..... I am quiet and peaceful most of the time but currently have NO social life. After 34 years of marriage then widowed, getting back into the real world is scary. I want to find a black hat guy that has white hat values. You know, kinda like John Wayne or Audie Murphy. Able to laugh and have fun but be trustworthy and compasionate. Oh yea, and I love to fish and hunt. I am a real outdoor person, love to have a house re-do project going or be off hiking or something like that. I stay as busy as possible all the time.
It is hard to put into word what I am "looking" for because I think I will know it when I meet him. I just want a one woman man that wants to come home to me at night, will let me be a part of whatever he is "in" to and simply enjoy being around me. We all want honesty, integrety, compassion, beauty, and so on but I want what is inside someone's heart for me and I will lay down and die for you. I guess I am saying loyalty and true love is what I want. Of course I prefer someone that has outdoor interests as opposed to always wanting to do puzzles on the dining table but I will do that too if he is the right one.
Now for the real stuff: Being ranch raised in Northern New Mexico between Espanola and Farmington made me a little less into "frill" I guess. I like to wear dresses as well as jeans and capris but don't spend time at the spa and social teas. I love being around horses and cattle, will help all I can, shoot coyotes and prairie dogs, cook chicken fried steak, but just don't ask me to get on a horse. When I was 5 yrs old my two sisters tied my radio red flyer to the tail of a wagon horse we had with bailing twine. My older sister then slapped Syd on the fanny and away we went. That wagon was every way but up with me hanging on and screaming for dear life when our mom came and spanked all three of us. Back then we did not know the meaning of traumatized but I know now why I don't particularly care to ride. I spent all my married life around horses as my husband was a professional trainer and our daughter had me at one and sometimes two rodeos a weekend all through high school. I love the lifestyle, just like to be the one to look pretty while I fry up mountain oysters. (haha not really, YUCK!)
Having only girls Dad raised us to be independant and strong willed in case we were ever alone and the need arose. I am finding I am both of those things but don't care to be alone quite so much. My Aussie and Chihuahuas are great company but they refuse to stay on their side of the bed. And that usually means the cat is on my head or something like that. LOL I am a pretty serious person but I do like to have fun maybe dancing, having a water fight with the hose, camping, calling coyotes (sounds a little crazy), maybe deer and elk hunting, all those girly things. However, I do clean up pretty well, just ask my boss. Oh, and I love my pickup too.
I LOVE my 1 daughter and 4 grandkids with everything I have and I am a mamma bear if you cross me about one or mistreat them. My family is number one to me and would be that committed to yours as well. I love children and think God blessed me greatly with my one and I think everyone should be greatful for theirs. I am a real advocate for abused or neglected children.
I only have 657 more characters to go so I think I will wait to tell you the rest if any of the above sounds interesting.
