Date a woman from United States. I have been in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for 4 years now and feel like this is where I should be.
I am originally from the Midwest. I grew up in the country in Michigan, in the horse business. Then I spent 15 years living in Chicago. I have found I like both lifestyles but I prefer to live in the country and have access to the city life. I must say I am most comfortable in my jeans and cowboy boots or shorts and a tank top, hanging out with family and friends, having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on a patio somewhere even if it is in my backyard. Then again it is always fun getting dressed up for a night on the town. Going out to dinner and a movie, live music, theater. Love to Dance - I have become a big fan of country dancing but do not have a partner to practice with.
Family is very important to me and I feel it tells a lot about a person, you do not have to have kids of your own to understand the value of Family. I have two great kids, a son and a daughter who I am very close too. They are young adults now but they never stop being your kids. I see them as much as possible as we are all in different states now but we stay connected. Yes, I am also a Grandma. I have a fantastic 2 yr old grandson - though his parents do not feel that way all the time right now (terrible 2's) and a granddaughter on the way.
I love the outdoors. I enjoy walking, swimming - both for exercise and relaxation and I am also interest in getting in to hiking, just do not know what to lookout for. Traveling, whether it is a long weekend just to get away or to some exotic location and relax. I love exploring new places and finding great local establishments wherever I am.
I hope to find someone that is down to earth, easy going and is comfortable just being themselves. We would need to have common interests as I am hoping to find someone to spend time with, while at the same time it is ok to have different interests and be able to enjoy them as well. I believe in chemistry - of all forms - there has to be a mutual attraction and we both feel it.
