Word of warning: even though I’m posting this for the Riverside area, I’m living in Venice at the moment. I’m planning ahead because I’m transferring to UC Riverside this fall.
Back to about me… If I were to compare myself to a fictional character it’d have to be Dr. Sheldon Cooper (and if you have 0 clue what I'm talking about, we�re not off to an auspicious start). For those of you who do know what I’m talking about, you can relax because while I'm certainly not without fault, I’m not as bad as him. Think of me as Diet Dr Cooper - 1/3 the quirks and social naivete, but with all the Sheldon-y flavor. I don’t claim to be easy to get along with, just that I try not to be difficult and I have some idea of my faults.
I’m definitely a big geek. I like to read science-fiction books and watch science-fiction and superhero movies. I'm also exploring my creative side and working on some stories. And I can definitely hold an intelligent conversation, although I wouldn’t say I’m a big talker, really more into listening.
What I’m really looking for is a woman who will first and foremost be my friend. I want to find somebody who I feel I can talk to about anything and everything in my life, but who won�t expect or demand it of me, which is important because I don�t open up to others easily. Someone who understands that relationships are about long term compatibility and stability instead of the instant gratification of short-lived romance, and will take the time to get to know me as a person instead of expecting chemistry off the bat and splitting if she doesn�t get it. There’s so much more I wish I could say but I don’t really know how to say it, and if I keep going on like this who is to say you won’t get bored?

- Light drinker (non drinker would be better but I�m trying to be realistic)

- Talks out disagreements instead of yelling or giving the silent treatment
- Not a party girl
- Does not do guilt trips
- Kind and empathetic
- As close to unselfish as humanly possible
- No children. I like kids but now is not a suitable time for me to be starting a family
And if you're the pushy type, be warned: I can be pushy, too

I did go to school to be an LVN, graduated and need to take my state board exam so I can get into that career and make people feel good. I'm not as family oriented as I should be, but I'll take my two nephews to their games and practices during the week and also show them how to play.Everybody in my family usually does their own thing around me and its a tough love environment, you know old school mexican parents, not wanting to give you too much credit for how good you do but saying things to make you think.I'm trying to keep this up to date.
