I am glad you stopped by. This is new for me and sort of awkward to talk about myself, but here goes.
I was born and raised in NC and most of my family still lives there. I moved to Ga in 1970 and Piedmont Alabama in 2010. I spent most of my career in Inventory Control at Boeing until I retired in 2000. I have a grown daughter who is married and 1 grandaughter. (they are in my photos) I like the outdoors and some of my favorite hobbies are golfing, gardening, reading, traveling and the occasional trip to the casinos. Sometimes it is great to just get in the car and go, just to see what's out there. However, we can't always be on the go, so staying home, grilling dinner, watching a good movie and laughing with that special someone is great fun also.
What's important to me? Probably the same thing that is important to most people, friendship, respect, communication and honesty are always at the top of the list.
What am I looking for? Well, first everything starts with friendship, eventually, I hope to find that one person that is good for me that I can share life, laughter and love with.

I moved up to the Bay Area from San Diego about 4 years ago and just LOVE it! I had lived in San Diego for 15 years. I completely have the ski bug and when the weekends come I'm usually trying to find a way to get to the slopes. If you ski or board....that is a huge plus, I skied 31 days last winter....just renewed my season passes at Squaw/Alpine and Northstar. I spend quite a bit of time in Tahoe and enjoy it year round. Have gotten into Stand-up Paddleboarding this summer, so fun! I also love kayaking, would try biking, am usually up for anything.
