Some we just allow to happen and some we chase until we make them happen. Either way we seem to have some control over it even though there are times we choose not to use that control to influence the outcome. If we knew the outcome of every situation we'd probably try to avoid most of the downs in life by not taking a chance on anything.....sticking your neck out so to speak. If we never take any risks we'll never know if that one risk we didn't take could have been the best thing that ever happened to us. We shouldn't let good things in life pass us by out of the fear of what the outcome will be. I think Garth Brooks had it right when he sang the song "The Dance". Things in life don't always end as we would like but the time between the beginning and the end, the dance, seem to be worth it in the long run. The best things in life are still free. The two most important are to have something to look forward to and someone to love.
