Date single man from Tuscumbia, United States. Strong faith is a plus, no one can or should ever walk alone. Hard-working, loyal, some would say with old fashioned manners, but I call it being a gentleman. I admire integrity and true honesty in todays world. I take pride in my word being my bond. If ever I tell you I will do something you can consider it done. We enter this world with a name, and we leave this world with nothing but a name, how do you truly wish to be remembered? That`s what counts. I`m a single father of a wonderful sixteen year old son who is now in high school, not far from college, and doesn`t seem to need my guidance as much anymore, smile. I`ve spent the last ten years coaching youth sports, and now I find myself a father fan. Which now equals having more free time on my hands. So it would be nice to stumble across a well rounded lady for a dinner partner, interesting conversation, sporting events, exploring, last minute road trips, date, bestfriend. Someone to knock around with to enjoy whatever might pop up that looks like it could be interesting. Someone who is mature enough to have been there, done that, and realize that relationships start with being friends first. And one other thing, if you`re looking for Fabio, sorry, I`m more the Lancelot type, smile.
I feel like a lasting healthy relationship is a lot like a garden, you truly reap what you sow. It takes effort, work, compromise, it needs to be cherished and nurtured to grow, but the rewards are endless. It`s what I believe, it`s how I live, it`s who I am. I have a few dings, a scar or two, broke some bones here and there but it`s from living life, smile. But I still polish up quite well, my body has yet to let me down, and my mind still thirsts for learning. It`s when we stand still that we grow old. It`s like the old saying, if you`re not moving forward, you`re backing up, lol.
I really don`t see why two normal sane adults cain`t meet, have a good time doing whatever, and in the end if it feels great, wonderful. We might have met our match. But if not realize it just wasn`t meant to be. It doesn`t mean that one or the other wasn`t a good person, just means one or both of us just wasn`t right for each other.
I dine out about once a week, breaks the monotony of my wonderful home cooking, smile. I very much prefer living outside the city limits, listening to the night sounds, nature all around, peaceful, private, and definitley a better view of the stars at night. But I also enjoy being within minutes of the city and what it has to offer, so really I get to take advantage of the best of both worlds.
Be warned, I smile a lot. I was born positive and upbeat, and have a very optimistic view of life. My honesty and respect are given freely because it`s what I always expect in return.
