I am a divorced man with no kids. I am good with children as I have 2 nieces and 4 nephews. I am currently the primary caregiver of my father who lives with me. I was the primary caregiver of my mother until February 2011 when I injured my back lifting her. She is confined to a bed and needs constant attention so because of my injury she now resides in a nursing facility near us. Dad is fighting lung cancer and has had two strokes. He gets around pretty well but has a tendency to forget things. My back injury forces me to use a power chair for a large portion of my mobility but I am hoping to have corrective surgery in the not too distant future.
As you see by my photos, I am a big man but with that comes a big heart, gentle spirit and an extensive capacity for caring and giving.
I have a Master's degree in Management. I am a self employed research consultant. I work mainly with a company out of Washington DC on a contract by contract basis. I research and review files in various government agencies.
I have two male Boston Terriers named Jesse and Joey. They are my children and as such are spoiled absolutely rotten.
I am an avid reader and movie goer. I like most types of music. I am a self professed baseball nut.
I think I will stop now as I may have already gone past the "Too Much Info" line; however, this proves I have a lot of interests and look forward to sharing my interests as well as learning more with someone.
