Date women from United States / Alabama / Jasper, 30 year old

Date someone special from Jasper, United States. I am looking for a happy, caring, sweet, decent looking man with a sense of humor to add to my life. I have a 5 year old daughter so he should like being around kids and enjoy going places as a family unit. He also must be independent with a job and his own place.

Meet a woman from Jasper, United States. Describe myself... Ok well, blonde hair, blue eyes, haven't decided what pic to put up yet so there isn't one for now, I'll work on that. I have never really given the online thing a try before an thought that I would. Who knows if nothing else maybe I will meet some new friends! I am a teacher (home ec) so I love to cook and create things. I love sports (Auburn football!) I have been able to get season tickets the last two years and don't plan on giving them up anytime soon! I love to travel and would LOVE to have someone to share some trips with. I am kinda trying to hit the vacation spots that are on my bucket list while I'm single and can still afford it .. Lol So far, I have visited Hawaii, NYC, Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid, with plans in the near future of making it to London and anywhere in Italy! I am a little sarcastic, and I like that in other people. People ask me all the time why I'm still single and honestly I don't really know! Lol Just haven't found the one I guess. I can tend to be a little reserved and shy at first, but I get over quick. I'm an easy-goin laid back kinda girl that can have fun just about anywhere! Anyways, I'm not going to write a book on here so if you want to know more about me just ask..

Date a soulmate from Jasper, United States. I'm putting myself out there...
I'm looking for a companion, a friend and someone to share my future with. I've put my social life on hold to pursue my education and career. That's not to say I haven't dated from time to time, but I haven't found that one special guy, yet. I'm at a point in my life that I'm ready to settle down, and look for the person God has been preparing me for.
So, I guess I should tell you a little about myself. I teach at a college in Northwest Alabama and I love it. Teaching is a passion for me. I think I was born to teach. My students are interesting, fun and keep me on my toes. I love learning as much as I love teaching. I'm finishing my doctorate, which will allow me to go wherever life leads.
I'm a people person and enjoy my friends and meeting new ones. I most enjoy a small group of friends over coffee or drinks. I'm a true Southern Bell raised in the deep South. I'm a bit old fashion in that I want a man to be a man, and a woman to be a woman. So opening the door for me, impresses me. I'm a strong woman and independent, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be treated like a lady. I don't except for a guy to support me, but I do expect him to provide for his family. I'm looking for a guy that is the head of his home, treating all those under his roof with respect; loving me, and a future family, as Christ loved the church.
Another area of my life I enjoy is public speaking. It really took off when I became Ms. Wheelchair Alabama in 2006. Oh, did I fail to mention I use a chair to get around? It's not really a big deal, in fact I've always told my students that I can do anything they do; except climb stairs. I hear that's changing too, thanks to a new wheelchair that climbs. How cool is that! Got to get me one!
My favorite quote from the Bible is, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." My faith is important to me and it's important for the guy in my life to have a love for the Lord. I love working on projects with the church and outside the church that help people. Kids are precious and I volunteer to help out in the nursery at my church. The kids think I'm fun. No one else comes with a riding chair like me. I guess that's something I need to share, too. I do want kids one day.
I know it's going to take a special guy that sees with his heart, and not his eyes, when it comes to what a woman with a disability can bring to a relationship. My limited ability to walk doesn't stop me from living life to the fullest in every way. I love to ski, go tubing, sunning at the beach, traveling and even curling up on the couch with a good movie. I believe that the special guy I'm describing is out there and I'll give you three reasons why: One, because I've already had guys who loved me for me, two my friend Ms. Wheelchair Utah found her love and married him, and three I believe in answered prayers.
Enough about me are you that special guy?
