Whenever I have free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, playing guitar, photography, traveling, watching and playing sports, exercising, watching movies, being outdoors, and learning about technology and computers. I have a 6 mo. old black lab, so I spend a lot of time playing with her and teaching her to not chew on my porch and house. I recently started learning guitar, so I'm really bad at it, but improving. Football is my favorite sport, and I watch it more than any other...Roll Tide! I like to play tennis, basketball, and go trail hiking. In the future, I would like to get into more outdoor activities. I like to drive through the country with my windows down and my music up. I've been blessed to travel to many different places with a previous job, so I love to travel. I love to be in the mountains or on a beach. Put me on a beach with a drink in my hand, and I'm a very happy man! I love watching movies and going to concerts. I enjoy a wide variety of music, but like rock more than any other genre, but it all depends on my mood. I work in Information Technology and really have an interest in technology and learning more about my field.
I'm hoping to meet someone who can bring out the adventurous side in me. I like a woman who can get me to try new things also. I would like to meet someone outgoing, relatively intelligent, with a good sense of humor and good conversation. Honesty is very important to me also, it's really a deal-breaker if you aren't. I find dry humor in everyday things. Like seeing a driver on the road driving with a knee on the steering wheel while eating breakfast and talking on the phone. My sense of humor can even be a little bit twisted (I tried to watch "Twister" on my MP3 player the last time tornadoes knocked my power out).
Laughter is the human body's natural reaction to witnessing something terrible (like the knee-driver). I think that laughter is healing, and I use it to brighten the day of those around me.
I flyfish, rather a lot, and I greatly enjoy all its aspects: The science and art of it (tying my own flies), as well as the serenity it brings. The fact that I'm sometimes outsmarted by creatures with brains smaller than my thumbnail keeps me coming back for more.
I'm an engineer, and I work in the aerospace industry. Sometimes the hours are long, but I REALLY enjoy my job (don't tell my boss). I've been with the same company for nearly five years, and I like where my career is headed.
