Just puttering around the house and yard in my spare time and grilling our with friends when the weather is nice are some of my favorite times. Other times I'll spend day dreaming on the end of the dock with my bare feet dangling in the water.
I drove an MGB for over 12 years and loved the camaraderie of being in the car club with a bunch of over aged kids! We loved to get out and play with our “toys”, party and picnic. I’d found friends like this again in the sailing clubs and sometimes it would be nice to have someone join me for these events..
I spent almost ten years in and around Mobile and fell in love with the area after living in Chattanooga for most of my life. Now trying to do the same with Guntersville, although I do make frequent day and week-end trips to Chattanooga to visit family.
My most memorable date:

-Having a friend teach my grand kids how to fish and surprising me by showing up at my back door to spend the day with us at the Space Center!
What I'm looking for? Someone who will go out and have a great time, walk the lake, enjoy the theater, hike our mountains or park, enjoy ball games, local events, museums or spending time on/around the lake. Maybe poke around some antique shops or stop in for some local cuisine. If the weather cooperates, a day on the lake then tying up at our dock and putting some shrimp or steak on to grill while watching the stars go by! This would be my new best friend! Maybe we could pack a picnic and take some kites out and make a day just “hanging out”.

I might not be arm candy or trophy, but I can pack a bag and be ready to go probably before you can. I do clean up fairly nicely and respond very well to some TLC!
