Becoming friends (first) is very important as that alone is the foundation of any strong relationship. I really enjoy music (Contemporary Christian, Jazz, New Wave, Classic Rock and Country Western. Sorry, no rap!), the web, and all types of movies. I love to cook (going to culinary school is on my bucket list), fine wine and cheese, Sushi, fresh seafood, vegetables and good ole southern cooking....and I can make some fabulous good ole fashioned southern cornbread!
I guess I could be considered old-fashioned to an extent as I still enjoy family get togethers with friends and family to play cards, board games etc. I'm not into the bar scene (sewed those oats years ago) but would rather devote my interest andattention to that special lady and all she does ;). I love long walks, holding hands, and simply being a gentleman and a confidant to that one special person that comes into my life. But on the same token, I'm the kind of guy that realizes a woman needs her own space at times. I consider myself pretty understanding to her needs.
I live on the Gulf Coast of Alabama and am crazy about what this area has to offer. I love most anything that includes the water and the beach; boating, fishing, toes in the sand, etc. Simply being around it is so relaxing to me and it makes me feel so at peace with our creator. I enjoy adventure (to an extent) and am not afraid of trying new things (if it makes sense and is legal, lol). Although I'd be flattered and do consider myself young at heart and mind, I have no desire to match up with someone young enough to be my daughter.
